🦉The Official Drake Thread6️⃣ - Scary Hours 3 11.17.23

What I gotta put it in a subtitle or somethin?

"If you diss me you won't hear a reply for it"

He decided to not go at Push who's been blatant with the disses.

Meek exposes Drake for not writing his rhymes.

Drake decided to BATTLE.

Joe talks about Views on his podcast

Drake listens to it.

Drake throws subs on 4pm in Calabasas.

Joe breaks down the bars on the show. Joe also gets wind to a Stay Schemin Part 2.(No Shopping)

In order to not repeat what happen to Common (getting dissed on a club song) Joe decides to respond. Joe takes a page out of Drakes playbook and drops two in a row back to back style.

Meanwhile the internet goes nuts on one hand people are saying why is Joe dissing Drake for? Drake wasn't even thinking about Joe. Or why would Drake respond to a loser podcaster.

Now a month later No Shopping comes out. We finally hear bars from Drake who supposedly supposed to be to "big" to acknowledge the so called nobody.

In conclusion, Joe reminded Drake he's not ready for real problems when it comes to actually showcasing rap ability.

To answer your question no just because Papoose or some random dude disses Drake he don't have to respond. I just showed you why and how this happened above. I wouldn't expect Drake or anyone to pay attention to random diss songs or shots

Bro..it's not the same situation as meek. Just like the common situation wasn't the same as meek.

Common and joe BUDDEN don't warrant the same response as meek.

That's allllllll I'm saying. That's it

Y'all can act like meek was an irrelevant dusty ***** off the corner if y'all want to. Cuz let some ppl in here tell it

My only problem with what Joey doing is that he's taking this approach from like a disgruntled fan....its making his bars have less sting. Go at this dude in the spirit of hip hop or hell the spirit of your career lol. Joey is relevant again in hip hop and he's kind of dissing but hiding behind walls while doing it. It feels like he's doing it in case Aubrey body's him. Well, that's my assumption. I'm not really sure why he's taking this approach.

I think what cats are saying is that budden can't do any real damage to drake. This is like a dude that graduated in 96 and put up decent numbers back then, come back to the school every so often and calling out the star player. Yes the old head can win, but the win doesn't really count towards anything and the young cat isn't really playing as hard as he can. Low key it seems like he just responded out of respect and because he admired jb at one point.

Budden ain't really relevant and he ain't about to kill Drake's career because no one really checking for him.

Meek was a different story, he was kinda hot in the streets and people cared about him, so drizzy and his squad had to drop the hammer.
How are we still using these arguments. The drake verse was made long before the budden diss tracks dropped. He talked about his garbage album and how he felt uninspired from a fan of dude pov. How he respond out of respect when he threw his Lil shots first. He kept putting his hand in the fence and got his *** bit, now everyone acting like Joe just woke up and wanted attention . All the o if papoose makes tracks, if Coolio makes a track he shouldn't respond is irrelevant when he started the whole thing. U throw a Jab at a ***** and he throw a haymaker we expect u to hit back. Stop treating this ***** like a victim.

Do the Drake stans have some sort of cute nickname like the Beehive and navy?

It's like Superman 3 up in here.

His entire moment back in the spotlight is orbiting around Drake. Watch this clown drop a single and hear the crickets chirp

You probably right lol. But at least he relevant for music or these records as opposed to falling off the wagon or trying to grab 15 minutes from a reality show.

Why do ya'll keep talking about relevancy, but he was relevant enough for Drake to write, well at least we think he wrote it, based on a podcast talking about his album

a podcast on an opinion of an album...a podcast

So ya'll really need to give up that part of your argument.

What are you talking about?

Budden's last hit was 2013 btw. I didn't care for it, but it is funny that it was made by a longtime YM/CM producer (T-Minus)

So now we know Drake only makes disses based on Twitter post, chicks, being slapped and podcast

Not actual songs or bars

Exodus 23:1 wasn't a sneak diss and was all about him.

What did Drake say about him?

A LOT OF EXCUSES IN HERE. KEEP THEM COMING.

Why do y'all continue to argue with these dudes?

Pusha t was their savior, then meek was supposed to be, now budden is the chosen one

Couple months it will be someone else

Bu bu but the podcaster reaching to be relevant. Drake obviously listens to that ***** podcast. Use to smoke hookah and be a 3rd wheel worshipping that other emotional *****. "He doesn't make songs about people who aren't relevant" but him addressing Mr unrelevant is the whole reason we are here.
