🦉The Official Drake Thread6️⃣ - Scary Hours 3 11.17.23

Hoping for two things:

1) Clips are relatively healthy for the postseason

2) Someone knocks San Antonio out before the Clips get to them

Spurs are the only team whom I feel like the Clips (Or anyone really) have nothing for. They are just too good man. Excellent floor spacers to surround Tony Parking playing 1/4 1/5 screen roll, then of course there's Tim Duncan. My goodness

Remind me again what he said???

Dog, what the **** happen to so and so, where did they go?
They too worried 'bout ******* and fashion, they go missin' in action
And then you never notice they missin'

He chose the word they because it's similar to ye..

We all know how much ye is chasing Kim around and how much he wants in on the designer world.

Man no.

Real **** drake is one of those dudes that just throws shot at no one in particular when he drops these types of lines. It's just him speaking to whoever thinks its for them. He's been doing this since he first started.

"He’s not holding you down, he’s holding you back" using this line to dirty mack foreva

Ye was on stage with Drake at a Drake concert two weeks ago and Drake was geeking out and talking about how Ye was his idol.

That line wasn't a Ye diss.

Nah, b.

Best R&B guy out, hands down.

PARTYNEXTDOOR > Drake

As hard as I **** with Party, I think he would have to show more of his vocal range for this opinion to be well-supported. Like, after listening to some of the Jahron B joints I can see the potential, but Drake is eating son's food in terms of songwriting and range on R&B tracks.

Since you are clearvoyant, are you trying to take a guess at when we'll be getting some new Party by the way? :nerd:

Nah I was being bias, Drake is for sure the better R&B artist. He has a stronger vocal and has much more depth when it comes to his songwriting. However, I do prefer PND's r&b than Drake's. But that's just a personal preference though. You can definitely hear PND's influence though on Drake's r&b when you hear records like 305, Own it, Come Thru, Days In the east, like those sound like PND records.

And PND is dropping this summer with "Ferina"

Yeah, I agree that the influence is very apparent. I've grown to like that about Drake; he doesn't take inspiration from someone/something and just cover it up to make it seem like it was all him.

So that "Ferina" **** was the name of a project after all. Hope it drops earlier in the summer than later.
