At this time, it does not appear like we will be receiving this shoe.  If any new information comes up, I will be sure to post an update.

2004 retros looked almost exactly the same in regards to the toebox in a brand new state. Once they get worn, the banana shape kicks in like no other. I would not trust any photos

Some advice to potential buyers:
-My 04 pair fits almost a full size too big. If you normally wear a 12, go with a 11.5 or 11.
-If these have the same materials as the 04 retros, and it looks like it does, these are serious dirt magnets. Nike uses this napless synthetic suede material.
-If you've never touched or seen the originals, these are
pimp.gif
on a whole bunch of levels. If you have any realization of what the originals were, these are laughable.

My honest opinion is that these are the same exact mold as the 2004 retro from the materials, to the shapes, to the colors.

awesome. i can't wait for these to drop again. i wanted these every since i was in elementary school.

my cousin had these and i remember the material was so soft, it's hard to explain, it was almost like terry cloth

or velour but made out of suede, sorry but thats the best explanation i can give. it was really soft to the touch, i

remember my cousin used to keep them under his bed, i used to always try them on and rub the material, i was blown away

by these. i've never seen that material used again on another shoe

I swear you could just insert my face in that pic circa 1992 and it would be the exact same, down to the GT and everything, but I couldn't afford the Trainer Max's so I had a lower tier pair of Cross Trainers or whatever I could cop on sale, like last years Jordans. (That was back when rocking Jordan V's when the VI's had already been out just looked bummy) Yeah, I think if these are made on the exact same mold as the 2004's I can pass on them. I gotta wait until I see them in person but it really is a shame they don't do them the same as the OG's but we could say that with most retros.

Wally,

You never cease to amaze me, are you in my department??? I swear I am going to smoke you out with Bill and see if you do indeed work with us, Jesus it

is just so damn scary and weird because you really know what you are talking about in so many regards, I wonder if you are my boss, and that is because of

how well spoken you are on product, and so highly knowledgeable about anything from materials, specific colors, not to mention manufacturing techniques, as

well as the marketing campaigns, you have to work here, you HAVE to, I swear to God you do...

To add

These weren't dust magnets, the blacks are though. On the blacks the durabuck seems higher. On normal durabuck you can just brush them off, but that doesn't really work for these.

The 2004's were durabuck, the OG's were a soft suede and these will probably be a %!#+%$ suede/nubuck from there description, which might be closer to the OG's. The color on the OG was more yellow, while this is more of a citrus color.

And I got the 2004's a half size down. The toe box tends to bubble up, because of the way they're cut. It's a lot of extra room.

I just copped in Houston for 100 flat. In 04 I bought 3 pair of blacks and 1 pair of these but I ordered them in an 11. The toe box and the fact that they ran big caused me to put them up and forget about them. They are still sitting in my stash DS. I got a 10.5 in these just to have a pair I would actually rock.

Still run big on length but they also fit better in the width (I have wide feet). I can actually rock these comfortably strapped up. The last retro was long and narrow to me.

Thanks for the update on the fit. I don't have wide feet, but the straps were never comfortable to me.
