Yes, unless your teacher pays attention for those types of things, then you are screwed. I had a teacher in hs who knew all about it and told us she used to do it herself.

In my experience, a lot of teachers have a no food/drink policy during exams for this reason.

I took an 8 hr test (two 4hr sections) and you're not allowed any bottles or anything of the sort nearby
