Haven't had any of these problems at all with my phone but it is fairly new. I can't speak on customer service because I haven't had to call then. Otherwise I think what you get for your money is well worth the price tag.

They are putting flagship phones into peoples hands at half or less than half the cost.

they tough over there in the iphone thread. ive always been Android Army, and decided to give apple a shot with the Iphone 6 (not plus)

im amazed that by now there is no simple drag and drop with the iphone, you have to download some other software and do some tweaks and what not.

i got flamed for asking about REVERSE TETHERING.. its like its my fault that my work dont have wifi and id ont want to use my data plan if ic an just use my work. I reversed tether with ease on My S3 with CyanogenMod. Plug it in via USB to the desktop, run the software in windows and I use the network's internet connected to teh desktop on my phone via USB.

can't even set Google Maps or Google Chrome as default app on IOS8. The phone contacts is weak. it don't even show your contacts photos unless you go in details. and no desktop, your desktop is the android's APP DRAWER.

I chuckled when I saw the latest features in IOS8 is stuff that we've had in kitkat if not older. I think they finally let Siri be active without pressing the home button but ONLY if the iphone is connected to a power source. "ok google" can be set at anytime not having to be on power.

Now that I've been able to see what Apple and IOS is about, i feel like I took a step back. But I'll continue to give it a shot. I thought Apple had more polished apps and apps that are not available on android, but so far they have been equal.

Best Buy has a promotion for the Note 4 on their site. You get a $200 gift card when you trade in a phone for the N4. Looks like I'll definitely be pre-ordering today. I was already planning on flipping my N3 for around $300 anyway. This is a good backup plan.

Yo I am so unclear with this promotion. Is it ANY working smartphone? If so, I'm so tempted to buy a LG Prepaid smartphone for $50 and trade it in for a gift card.

It's official, I canceled my Iphone 6 plus and pre ordered the galaxy Note 4 in black. I feel like I'm getting more for $300 then getting the iphone 6.. Also, the fact that you can multitask on the Note 4 was a big win for me. Like, watching a video and going on the internet at the same time was DOPE...

you can also add a 64GB possibly larger microSD card and not have to pay an extra $100 for it. You can also use the IR Blaster to control your TV, A/V receiver, directv/comcast box, even your air conditioner!

I'm torn between the note 4 and edge, I heard the edge will come out late in the year. I just hope they fix the Spark issue on Sprint it sucks you can't access the net during a phone call.

to me apple just has two things going for it: build quality and less buggy. everything else goes to android (as long as you know how to use your phone).

Got mine, 64GB Gold 6.

Now I have an iPhone 6 and HTC M8, two of today's top high end smart phones

Off first feel, it's really really light. I was expecting it to be light, but not this light, almost cautious that I might shatter it if I drop it, lol.

The screen is great, bright and crisp, I'm gonna have to get use to icons all over the place, I'm use to a cleaner look, with focus on the background wallpaper. I immediately tried the camera, it's dark out right now so I'm not yet to see what all the talk is about, but on first notice, it's less saturated then my HTC M8. The tone is more natural I guess. It focuses really really fast, faster than my M8. Takes good pictures but ill wait till tomorrow.

Ill have to give it some more play, but I like it so far, but it's def different than Android. I swiped down looking for my Google Now cards and it was just blank notification screen, lol.

This is gonna take some time to get use too.

Got a question, do you guys know if there's a tv remote app that will work with my Samsung UNF6300 and allow me to turn the tv off just by using the app? I have the Smart remote app but I can't turn the tv off just using the app.

Yeah im feeling the lag as well. especially when I go to close all windows, nothings there so I have to give it a second and click it again and then shows all my open apps so I can close em off. Even using nova, but its not that bad just few screens lag a lil. Being picky tho. Cant help you on the app, tried downloading different ones from the play store?

For me the lag really hits when I open youtube or yahoo mail. It takes about 2-3 seconds for the app to open and sometimes my mail app won't even refresh to the latest message and it's updated to the latest version. Now sure what the issue with that is there. I've tried about three different ones now and haven't had any luck. Figured I'd ask here and do a little more research on it before downloading another one since there's a bunch out there.

My lags only when im doing what I was sayin, other then that its pretty decent. Nova sped up my menus etc. No complaints. Was sitting out the back on the weekend chillin with the girl and plaing youtube on the G3. Didn't even say anything before she was like "WOW its like a tv" she dosent notice tech stuff so for her to say that made me think yeh, the screen is nuts on this phone no doubt

Got 4 hours 44 minutes OST today on my Z ULTRA..most I ever got. I think I could make it to 5+ hours if I turned off LTE and didn't have brightness on 75% most of time

My G3 is lags a bit especially when typing. Still stock but will look into some custom ROMs this weekend. Any recommendations? Been a long time since i did this stuff.
