Was reading the through the comments when T-mob announced their new "roll over" data and people are reporting stupid speeds.

I'm barely getting 3.85 hours ost compared to 6-8 hours on my old g2.

Lemon. I'm averaging 6-7 on multiple different ROMS bro. Never had anything close to 8 hours SOT on my G2. I would say both devices are extremely comparably battery life wise with one having a far superior screen with way more pixels to pushed. Extremely impressed with my Notes battery life especially compared to the likes of other QHD smartphones

Welp. Time to get rid of my ISP

Ridiculous

Moto X said it would be here Friday... Fedex said Thursday... arrived today :pimp:

The wood is nice, I'm sure the soft touch plastic would have been good as well, but I'm happy with the bamboo. It's great looking and from what I've read, it's a darker shade because it has a black face compared to if it had a white face. I'm sure the white would have looked better, but I didn't like the look of the white face. It's smooth but doesn't feel ridiculously slippery.

The size will take some getting used to coming from the Galaxy Nexus but I have big hands so I'm not worried.

The phone itself is beautiful, well made... feels solid and high quality. And as soon as I turned it on, there was a Lollipop update waiting for me.

Unfortunately, I won't be switching over to T-Mobile until January because I have to wait for my mom and brother because we're on a family plan. So I won't get to use this as my primary phone until then, but I love it right now.

Damn that makes me really want to get the Moto X, but I can't justify leaving the OPO for it

Also, I got this email from OPO this morning. Looks like they are selling the OPO without invites now until they run out of stock OP2 coming down the pike sooner than expected?

Dear friends,
[table][tr][td]
Today marks our first birthday, and it’s amazing how fast time flies. There are so many things we’d like to share with you, so here’s a particularly long newsletter (but full of wonder and joy!).

For the first part of our grand celebration, the OnePlus One is now available without invites while supplies last. All accessories are 11% off, so now is the perfect time to snatch up that case or pair of earphones you’ve been eyeing. We’re also very excited to unveil our OTG Cable, which will be participating in the sale at 11% off!

As we continue into our second year, we are proud to announce one of our biggest moves yet--our own custom ROM. And, because you’ve been with us since the beginning, we want you to help us give it a name. Send us your ideas for a chance to win a OnePlus One, a trip to Hong Kong to meet us, and one of the very first OnePlus Power Banks.

Packing 10,000 mAh of power, enough to provide three full charges for your OnePlus One, our Power Bank will be available in both Silk White and Sandstone Black. It will be available for only $14.99 early next year, but you could be one of the first to get your hands on our Power Bank by participating in our You Name It contest.

Our birthday celebration wouldn’t be complete without yet another awesome contest. You could win a 64 GB OnePlus One in Sandstone Black by sending us a birthday message on Vine, so let the creativity flow! We can’t wait to see your miniature cinematic exploits.

For a stroll down memory lane, read more about our year in review in a blog post from Carl. Included is a retrospective video from ours to yours, and we hope you enjoy learning more about our journey together and what lies ahead.

Finally, we’d like to take this time to say thank you to every single one of you. Thank you for the small things like subscribing to this newsletter, thank you for being part of this incredible experience, and, most of all, thank you for believing in us from the beginning.

As always,
Never Settle

This guy held on to his GNex for almost a year longer than I did

, hes a champion man.

I hope the OPO2 is on the way, I would cop that with no hesitation.

Curious to see how them making their own custom ROM is going to play out. I know they were pissed with CM because they didn't sign the exclusivity deal for India and then turned out partnered with some other company to put CM on their phones as well. Was rumored that they were cutting ties for the Middle East/India area, but with stuff going down like that, I figured that they would just leave altogether.

T-Mobile is killing it. Them being savages is dropping the price for all carriers. They got sprint in a panic buying anyone out of contract and the other two giving out data trying to compete. :pimp: that's how to run a business.

Should be interesting. I like CM but it sounds like it just didnt work out. So the OPO2 would ship with Color OS? Has anyone ever used Color OS?

I was generally happy with it despite it's obvious shortcomings. That and I never bothered playing around with anything better. So ignorance was bliss.

Just playing around with it ,this thing is flying. Screen is big and beautiful, finish and quality is top notch, even though its just got the one..the front facing speaker is solid. And Motos features on top of stock Android is awesome. This was my Christmas gift to myself and I'm loving it so far. I know it's just a phone, at some point it might break or I'll get a new one, but it's still cool to get something new and shiny and that you've wanted for a long time. I'm happy  :pimp:

I've had Note 3 for about a year, got a replacement last month due to signal issues my original one was having. Great phone other than pictures in lower light and when sharing via flickr/instagram... hate the pixelation/softening that occurs. I actually JUST bought an iPad mini just to upload pics I snap with my mirrorless/etc to IG/flickr lol

I can't believe he held on to the Gnex for that long, props man. I found that thing unuseable like a year+ ago

I think the MottoX is the most premium feeling android device, right up there wit, if not better than the M8.

Anyone have any case recommendations for the Note 4, looking for something that looks nice and minimal, not about to throw an ugly *** otterbox on it.
