Sucks but it's probably for everyone's good. I'm sure the banks and CC companies wouldn't want to be liable for fraudulent transactions if people were able to steal your card info thru Google Pay.
True, the whole process is complicated and they can't put huge sums of money at risk. This is Google though. They must've known this going in and should've focused on finding a solution.

There are ways around the rooted phone and Android Pay thing. I was disappointed at first too.  Then I decided to disable SU and then try to add my card.  Bingo. Just and FYI, fellas.

yeah thats a work around for some phones I was going to post that. Sadly it doesn't work on my rooted M9 but I know it works on a lot of devices. disable SU, add card, enable SU and you're back in business

lobo, are you running M developer preview? it gives me a message that Pay won't run on developer previews.

Your workaround is good enough for me though, once the official M comes out.

Do you guys think the new Blackberry is worth it? I kind of like it but I get turned off the fact that it kind of looks like a modern LG chocolate lol
It'll all depend on the price and how it runs. The rumored specs are good, a lot of people love the style and design, so long as it isn't lagging/stuttering or have atrocious battery life.. I think it'll show Blackberry can have a place in the Android world.

A lot of people still talk about wanting a physical keyboard, plus some would be interested in BB's security emphasis.

I was someone who resisted going to a non-physical keyboard for awhile, but now I'm comfortable and used to it.. but I'm still intrigued at the idea of an Android Blackberry. Great physical keyboard, modern Android, we'll see. I loved my Blackberry 9700 back in the day.

Are you just really using your phone to pay for things like this? Seems like a novelty to me

My moto x fell out my suit jacket today. Bruh my hard dropped

Good thing I had the bumper on it. The phone fell right on the bumper

Are people at best buy really this stupid? I bought my moto x from them I had my girl pick it up and tell them I need a sprint sim card for it. They told her they don't have Sprint some cards to call another best buy. I called the best buy and the lady tells me Sprint doesn't use sim cards. And that if I have no lte or data its the phone.

I guess it's a stupid reason but the fact everybody got a damn iPhone annoys me and makes me NOT want an iPhone. Sorta like GR Jordans (although I don't care much about this as I used to). I remember being on the bus earlier this week and me and this other dude were the only two with Android phones. Everyone in that joint had an iPhone. That Apple marketing is something strong man. They're great phones no doubt, but it's annoying talking to people who brush off Android and never even owned a device. Or some ****** S3/S4 that made them sour on the whole experience. Those Apple stans are cut from another cloth.

Then again, we're pretty much fanboys and Google never markets anything so you can't be too mad.

What do you mean lol? She was so confident I was trying to explain to her that I need a sim card and she stopped me and told me I wasn't understanding that Sprint doesn't use sim cards. I'm gonna go back with the UPC # and get one

What that NT iPhone thread like though

I used to think the iPhone fans were just products of advertising. I don't really think it's just that anymore. Truthfully, changing OS's is expensive if you have a lot of apps. Sometimes upgrading phones comes down to convenience. Try convincing someone that doesn't really care about the intricacies of hardware and tech that switching is worth it. To most consumers, the phones do roughly the same mandatory functions. Why not stick with what you know and what you have already invested in?

I was gonna say something similar to what you did ^^^^

The average consumer is what keeps these companies floating.
