\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

Picked up a new daily. 2000 TL.  all black interior with leather seats, heated seats, Bose audio with a factory sub woofer, radio controls on the steering wheel.  **** is super nice inside and drives smooth as hell with the v6, just can't beat it for $4K when it comes to a nice driving, reliable car, with a decent amount of luxery
Nice

I love that body style S Type

Couple shots my boy and I took today of his XK and my A3. His car is sweet, I'm jelly.

How many miles on it? Looks like it's in great shape
149k miles, clean title, ****** replaced by Niello Acura (Honda had a big problem with their Auto ******s in the 90s and early 2000s. Especially in v6 cars)

I too am a big fan of the S. But being that this is just my daily and i have the Evo for when i feel like going fast, i decided not to get the S for 2 reasons:

-Save some money on buying it in the first place

-And save money on insurance

Was literally just thinking about you the other day no romo. My girl was gonna surprise me for my bday and told me we were going somewhere fun. I kept tryna figure out what she had planned but she wouldn't gimme any hints. Then, the day before she asked me what car I was bringing and I asked if it mattered. She said yes and to bring the c63 so I was thinking maybe we were going to a track or something and got all excited. Turned out it had nothing to do with the car at all and she just said that to keep me guessing the wrong thing. Ended up being disappointed that we didn't go to a track or something, but I didn't mention that to her

Funny, my lady told me we were going to an art show (her friend is an animator for Fox) for her friend to support him. She kept insisting I clean my car and make sure everything was okay, fluids, tires, etc. So she "spilled the beans" and said that she wanted my car to be nice and pretty so the animators could draw it. I was like, that's awesome. But then I made fun of her for not being able to keep it a secret. So the next day, we go to the art show, which I have no idea where it is. She gave me the address and I punched it in the GPS, next thing I know, we end up at a racetrack.. She got me good, it was for our anni. Can't say I wasn't disappointed that I didn't get my car to be drawn at the same time though

But it's alright. She went ahead and did this a few days later.

Nice pickup! I think you said it had 120k or 140k miles?

149k. Got it for 4k and the dude left his pioneer subs in it because he didn't have tools to take them out

Was a great deal really. I was watching TL's on craigslist for weeks and every clean title 99-03 in the $3500-$5500 range would literally sell in 2 days tops. And most of them had 170-220k miles.

I jumped on this one the day it got posted. A guy was already on his way to buy it but then the seller called me and said "Hey if you wanna come see the TL, this guy only showed up with 3800 cash and im not taking that"

So i went down there, drove it, put a deposit on it (Because banks were closed) and went back and picked it up the next day.

Speaking of old cars, my dad just bought an old pre-smog Chevy c10 truck today (the one i was taking him to look at when the z06 tried to fly-by me  ).  It's a pretty clean little truck. slightly lowered with some 10 inch wide rims and a 350 crate motor. In damn good shape for the year

I love C10s. What year is the one your old man picked up?

Idk where your from, but there's a big tire shop out here on the West Coast named Calderon. Adam (the owner) has bouhten a couple off of my uncle.

Oh i'm sure he will.  He bought a new rear end for it already because the gears were like 410s or something so it would barely go 70mph

i know he is going to get a loud exhaust put on soon.  Said he is also going to get skinnier wheels/tires in the front since right now they're the same size as the rears.

I'm assuming he will be doing a cam in it at some point as well

Yes I have it for my Jeep. It's great! Only one company makes the kit though even though a lot of people sort of rebrand it. It's called altec show n go.

Side note: Turns out these guys are about 35 minutes away in Ham Lake MN.

You get the automatic or the manual one? :nerd:

 those 4.10's would be better suited for short distance.

A friend of mine has an 80's truck and he's running 3.23 I believe. That truck will be doing 11o and still want to keep going.

Staggered wheels :pimp:

Subaru has said several times no wagon or hatch... I'm thinking it's because Levorg...

Would buy a Levorg, unlikely it makes it's way to the US though. Especially with it being between an Impreza and Legacy size wise, I think they will reintroduce the hatch in a few years.

Hey, so I just realized that I don't want a front license plate. I should've told that to the dealer but it didn't even come to mind.

Is this an easy fix to cover the holes? Since the paint is fresh would they still need to paint the entire bumper for those 2 little holes?

Is it just the two small holes, or does it have a housing? Like a rectangle where the plate sits?

the two small predilled holes that are for japanese paltes. i think there are also 2 small indents for american plates

an option would be to get the plate delete
