**Official 50 Cent Thread **Street King Immortal Final Album?**

It makes more sense to release a gunit album first. Nobody is checking for 50 but when the unit reunited heads turned. If the unit album has some success it will carry over to 50s release. If 50 releases first nobody will care like with AA and by the time the unit drops the buzz will be dead.

but G-Unit will flop hardbody, those guys been gone for too long to ever gain some kind of relevance again. 50 still got his mainstream appeal, he would do better than the group.

50 solo will flop just as bad. Nobody cared about dude musically until the g unit reunion. Hell this thread even jumped. Might as well give the people what they want and solo fifty obviously wasn't it

i just don't get why he's pushing for a G-Unit album before his solo album. it's bound to flop first hand. i rather hear a full 50 album since he hasn't released one in years. now that Kidd Kidd is part of the group it's not gonna be too great. he's already ruined songs like that 50/Jada track.

Absolutely not.

I also believe the order was 1. G-Unit mixtape 2. Street King Immortal 3. G-Unit album

Anyway I'm hoping for a multiple year run. Don't even care about the commercial success. As many albums (solo & group) and mixtapes that they can make. Flop or not, that's how they'll keep things going, is constantly releasing music.

I don't get how dudes rather hear garbage *** YAYO on a G-UNIT track over NUTT...I rock with NUTT not just cause he from my city but because dude can actually rap, he got is own style, his own flow not trying to do what everybody else doing...I rock with 50 always did, before SLIM (SOULJA SLIM) got murked word down here was 50 was interested in signing him....BUCK is the pipeline for 50 to rock with the N.O. street rappers cause BUCK was signed to CASH MONEY back in the day & stayed down here for a lil min...But The thing with FLOYD is funny man 50 should put together a sketch comedy dude is a clown...FLOYD need to stop trying to be around all these rappers & things like this wouldn't happen to him dude need to focus on boxing..

1. Were you not paying attention to the attention G-Unit got from the reunion at Summer Jam? That's the most attention 50 has had music wise in a long time and it was because of the REUNION.
2. There is no way 50 solo is going to do better than the group. Mainstream wise, people have been waiting on a G-unit reunion not another 50 album. We have five 50 albums (6 if you count Power of A Dollar) and 1 real G-unit album (I'm not claiming TOS because of the buck situation) what makes you think folks who care at all want 50 over the group?

Yayo has always held his own on features and he actually FITS in the Unit. Like someone said earlier, Kidd Kidd sounds out of place. And as far as that style you claim he has, nobody would know because he's not focused on his own music. Dude suffers from the same thing that split the real group up, he doesn't work hard enough on his own and now he's depending on the Unit coattail to bring him light. Dude should tell 50 he wants to be separate from the group and grind, he'll always be that guy nobody wants to hear while in the group.

For me the real G-Unit should/would be 50/Yayo/Banks/Buck/Game...

If 50 & Game would've stayed together

 so many great records.

I don't know why you'd have Game as part of "the real G Unit".

He really didn't do many records with the crew AT ALL.

i personally feel G-Unit isn't gonna get the attention 50 will, he is first and foremost the most popular one in the entire group. without him moving first they will not get attention.

This but I get what he's saying though.

Um 50 already moved first with AA and a spot at Summer Jam, buzz for his music won't be getting any higher unless he drops a single with Game and we all know that probably won't happen. He could put out the best music he's ever recorded and he still won't get a major look. Mainstream has grown tired of 50 which is why we only hear about him (mainstream wise) if he's commenting on someone else, clowning on IG, etc... I'm a fan of 50 and will continue to check for him but lets be real.

but that AA joint isn't too great, if that's the best he can offer he's really finished. this Street King Immortal album has been on the back burner for a few years, how does he expect this to be a success? G-Unit won't help the situation. i always thought of Game was back in the group it would be alot easier for him, hell he's more marketable than Kidd Kidd or a Tony Yayo.

Yea, I mean Game was a late add-on to the group but he had a pretty big following on his own...was the best new thing out of the West at the time, street cred that hasn't been really questioned, and a great rapper...I just felt that G-Unit had all their bases covered, Buck = South, Game = West, 50 = Worldwide, Banks/Yayo = NY...Banks being a great lyricist, Yayo doing his Yayo dance being the hypeman/flashy dude, hell, that damn Yayo dance could've taken a life of it's own had they capitalized on it. I know ya'll remember those 'Free Yayo' shirts

and with that argument going on:

ain't nobody checking G-Unit without 50, and no one is checking 50 without G-Unit. simple.

Both needs each other equally when it comes to music.

as far as career wise, 50 don't need them at all.

what if the unit just put a hit out on everyone in the industry, diss track calling out anyone and everyone

So you want them to recreate how to rob?
50 could execute that alone...but I'd imagine some Young Money vs. G-Unit...or GOOD vs. G-Unit type of thing...or We The Best vs. G-Unit

oh wait, it's all about money, too much money to be made to get things poppin again smh

Do y'all look at the current music landscape when hall say stuff like this?

These kids don't care man. Young Thug paints his nails.

Drake damn near cried after Control and people defend him, including yourself, and y'all think people who call everybody who hasn't had an album out in 2 years irrelevant would care what G-Unit has to say about popular artists? .
Beyond laughable

People, the public, media always responds to negativity a lot more than anything, this reunion was all shock value as in "hey we haven't seen these guys in a while, what they been up to", there's people that don't even know about 50's new album, but they do know about that bad pitch, and how 50/Unit used to ride out on people...and these soft dudes you mentioned Young Thug/Drake would be easy targets.

4 Things We Learned At G-Unit's Shade 45 Reunion Special

by Michael Trampe

posted August 22, 2014 at 12:30PM EDT | 1 comments

Exclusive: Here's a heads up on nearly a dozen upcoming songs and pull quotes courtesy of 50 Cent and G-Unit directly from their upcoming reunion special on Shade 45.

It’s rare to get an email from a G-Unit executive inviting you to a private interview and listening session for 50 Cent and G-Unit, especially the day before the event. As it happened, I received such an email Tuesday, August 19.

Honestly, this was a once and lifetime opportunity in my opinion. So I cleared my schedule and made the drive from Northeast Philadelphia to Manhattan on August 20. After sitting in three hours of traffic, paying $40 to park and making the three-block hike, I made it to Shade 45, 20 minutes late. But this is a Hip Hop event, so technically I was 30 minutes early.

At Shade 45 Studios, MTV’s Rob Markman hosted an exclusive interview and listening session with G-Unit to preview their upcoming music. The interview will air Monday, August 25 at 10:00 pm on Shade 45. In the meantime, here are a few takeaways from Rob’s interview with 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks, Kidd Kidd and Young Buck. The guys covered all things G-Unit including nearly a dozen new, unreleased tracks.

Kevin Gates & Ca$hout Are G-Unit Fans

Bread Winners Association representative and 2014 XXL “Freshman Class” member Kevin Gates dropped in for the occasion. He dapped up both Young Buck and fellow New Orleans native Kidd Kidd. There’s a few loose dots from the ‘90s and early aughts connecting the trio, as Buck languished on the Cash Money roster with former group-mate D-Tay before connecting with G-Unit. Similarly, Kidd Kidd also logged time under the CMR banner alongside Lil Wayne, Gudda Gudda and T-Streets as a member of Lil Wayne’s ill-fated Sqad Up crew. Meanwhile, Gates turned down an opportunity from Birdman, but still lists him as a mentor of sorts. The Ca$hout spotting was somewhat random, but the creator of the 2012 hit “Cashin’ Out” was welcomed and snapped a few pics with Kidd Kidd and Young Buck.

G-Unit’s Rift Was Cause By Lack Of Communication

Wednesday’s group session was the first interview with the full group in years. Between 50 Cent’s 2008 leaked phone call, which featured Young Buck sobbing and more recent remarks where Fif’ compared G-Unit to spoiled milk, many figured G-Unit was done for good. Count Tony Yayo among them. The “Gun Powder Guru” said he figured things were a wrap, but vividly recalled listening to Get Rich or Die Tryin’ in 50’s grandma’s crib and riding around in a van with bullet proof vests. As it turns out, at Wednesday’s listening session, 50 proclaimed, “The only thing that could break up the Unit again is me.” For the record, Buck says he feels no emotion—good or bad—about the taped conversation from six years ago. He added that it was a real moment for him, and people hyped it up to be more than it really was. 50 says he taped the exchange because they had the convo over and over, so he wanted to have it recorded since they rehashed the same thing so many times. Given the fan response to the Summer Jam reunion and subsequent musical releases (“Nah I’m Talkin’ Bout” has over 4 million combined YouTube views), it appears the only thing the guys will recording will be music.

50 Cent Says G-Unit Has Recorded Over 40 New Songs

From “G-mixing” Hit-Boy’s “Grindin’ My Whole Life” to Drake’s “0 to 100,” 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck and Kidd Kidd have kept the new viral material current. The crew says “Ahh ****” was a spur of the moment decision spawned by watching coverage on Michael Brown and the Ferguson, Missouri protests on CNN during numerous studio sessions. 50 says he also personally reached out to Drake to get the “0-100” beat. But more original material is on the way including the Havoc-produced “Watch Me” and “Changes,” which features 50 addressing his dealings with Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine and how selling headphones tarnished the relationship. The track also features 50’s trademark candor, with Fif’ detailing how his former lawyer didn’t show up to Chris Lighty’s wake. Other standout tracks include “I Don’t **** With You,” “Digital Scale,” “Dead A ***** *****,” “The Plug,” “Big Body Benz” and “Ease Up.”

G-Unit Still Pulls No Punches

Remember when “Poppin’ Them Thangs” dropped and 50 rhymed, “After the VMAs my baby mama cussed my *** out / I kicked her ***, we back friends like Puffy and Steve Stoute?” If the recent Floyd Mayweather quotes didn’t make it clear, G-Unit is still brutally honest in and outside the booth. Among the night’s choice quotes, 50 Cent said Eminem is probably crazier than him and compared Em to the big brother in the movie Alpha Dog.

“If Eminem isn’t Hip Hop, I don’t think I am,” 50 added. Other notable factoids from the Shady/Aftermath days included 50 revealing Dr. Dre made him say the same lines over 500 times on the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ song “Heat.” According to 50, the track was offered to Busta Rhymes, Rakim and others, but he ended up taking it.

Lloyd Banks, who didn’t say much the entire night, explained that he had no issue with Bobby Shmurda using his “Jackpot” beat (courtesy of Jahlil Beats) for the song “Hot *****.” 50 Cent said the Schmoney Dance originator needs some work as an artist, but as far as the issue of reusing the track, there’s no animosity on G-Unit’s end.

“I don’t feel any type of way, we did it all the time,” Banks said, referring to how G-Unit took other rapper’s beats and made songs to them.

Like I said. Drake said Kendricks words were "harsh" and the general public didn't call him soft. If G-Unit does this they'll be call old and using beef to stay relevant.

Pretty much . Unless Nicki/Drake/Wa_n_ make a diss record together firing shots at other people, the current landscape won't care. So many people have been exposed with no consequence, so it really won't matter.
