My opinion - he can do whatever he wants on his own. Rap about whatever life you please if you are a kiddie trying to get your career going. But, once the establishment takes a preteen who is largely devoid of talent (this isn't 14 yo Shyheim we're talking about here), put the financial battery in his back and gives what he's doing the stamp of approval, they are ostensibly engaging in this generation's version of blaxploitation.
I don't expect everybody to agree, but I can't cosign that.
This isn't, I'm a shorty growing up in a tough neighborhood where I have few choices music, this is basically a cartoon.

Well, I said that's a really "soft" sounding name.

And, you noted that he was just a kid.

So, my point was that if you're going to rap like a thug/boss/balla//whatever, then you shouldn't choose a name that makes it sound like you're a featured guest on Yo Gaba Gaba. ...Regardless of your age.

The rest of my comment was just general opinion on the phenomenon. Not directed at anybody in this thread in particular.
