the new Honda seasonal was no problem but damn man. the expert seasonal is ridiculous. i can't get any closer than 7 seconds behind 2nd place.

anyone doing better than that? i'm averaging 2:05 lap times. need to come in at 2:00 at least twice to win this thing.

Can't do better than 5th with a DS3.

the lack of grip in the tires is whats getting me.

Slap on even only a set of Racing Hards and it's a wrap.Will try these with my DFGT eventually.

Haven't had a chance to test this yet(Bspec 24 hr. Le Mans), but the setup in this thread seemed to help some people out. If you test it before I do, let us know how it goes. http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=5412058#post5412058Fiat 500

I haven't even gotten around to the Expert seasonals, but good-looks on the setup-thread. I like that they're doing these types of seasonals... it really forces you to tinker around with your setup instead of letting your power your way through a race. And lets face it, in real racing, a lot of the times, you get similarly-powered cars... it's how you set it up which makes the difference. Is it as tough as the Ford Focus challenge from a while back?

I guess at the end of the day, you can always turn on skid-control, active steering and whatnot to do the races.

zk1 - you have enough cars to pass one over to me? whats this $1mil limit deal? is it like a one time gift to another user and you get to dupe the car? or do you lose it?

^ Nope, it's the maximum value of the car you are allowed to 'gift' to another person. They placed limits on gifting a few months ago, since this is the way cars were essentially 'duped'. Dudes were creating multiple copies of extremely expensive and rare cars/paints (and now racing suits and helmets as well) in the game. That's how most NTers got both Ferrai F1 cars, X2010s and FGTs. I gave out Chaparral 2Js.

In addition to the Cr. 1,000,000 limit, you can only send one car per console per day. And you can only send 5 paints per console per day. Helmets and racing suits are unlimited gifting status for now.

And please keep in mind that the Cr. 1,000,000 limit includes the value of possible modification of cars; that's why some stock cars that are worth Cr. 1,000,000, when modded, can't be gifted.



With JayzOnMyToes, his hard drive crashed; losing his GT5 in the process. He's currently giving the game another go and starting from scratch. I just wanted to help him out --get back on track.



i think i only have 290 cars so far. I only buy the ones i like/am curious about. If you're looking for a car that's under Cr. 1,000,000, and I have it in my garage, I can send one to you. If not, maybe I can purchase/look out for one, and then send it to you.
