--[ TOP GEAR U.K SERIES 24 Started Mar. 6 ]--[The GRAND TOUR ]

Haha, I'll be the first to say it seems like a reach, however, with regards to the legwork needed to get a race between the three hyper car, I couldn't help but compare it to the Pacquio-Mayweather negotiations over the last five to six years.

Porsche = Fight fans - Willing, ready, able, and want the race
Ferrari/McLaren = Interchangeable between Pacquiao & Mayweather - Unwilling to make concessions needed to make the race happen

.....In due time I guess

I do think it's pathetic on McLaren's part considering the TG track is essentially home turf. I recall being thoroughly disappointed when the 12C beat the Aventador by the slimmest of margins.

Peugeot bit was lame IMO... oh well.

Interestingly, McLaren Automotive followed up with...

@McLarenAuto
1/2 To clarify what you may have heard on @BBC_TopGear last night, we were ready with a McLarenP1[emoji]8482[/emoji] for the triple track test...

@McLarenAuto
2/2 The track filming was due to take place this week but was cancelled by @BBC_TopGear ahead of last night’s show.

So who knows?  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i thought the part where they were driving the Peugeot's like idiots was hilarious....

as far as the hypercar race i get the impression they're just making all that crap up so they can save it as a surprise for the season Finale.....

McLaren's tweets kind of back up my theory there as well

I have a very strong feeling that this is the case. It's also why they haven't really given the descriptions of any of the episodes ahead of time like they normally do. We usually had 2-4 episode briefs before their air date.

where are you guys watching this at i havent been keeping up with the show in a while now

pls respond

thanks fam :smokin

they are gonna tell us which is faster of the 3 hyper cars this season tho right? :nerd:

Ferari denied that they said no to the 3 hypercars being tested out. McLaren hasnt said a word yet. Hopefully that means they will surprise us at the end.

McLaren tweeted that they had a P1 ready last week and Top Gear cancelled it.

it's just Top Gear making up stories to put it off till the end of the season...

I was using media hint. Just checked out that app that was just mentioned. Its much better

havent finished the episode but Jeremy should've expected the worst. Especially being an M3/4 fan himself. He should've known that car cant be beat by anything in its price range. Once I clear a good portion of my student loans, depending on the income that I have I'll get a manual M4.

Great video of the Z06 vs. the P1!

Disappointed the episode filmed in my home Province was a bit of a snoozer. Even the "Star In a Reasonably Priced Car" segment was dreary. :smh:

I thought this episode was ok... I'm not a truck-guy, but that Raptor was pretty cool.

I know/think Scully's English accent is authentic, but I just can't get used to it...

I aint a truck guy but I thought this episode was hilarious. I dont need to like the kind of car to appreciate the engineering of it.

When I saw the trucks cross those miniature rivers I was like :wow: It recovered from things I didnt know cars could easily bounce back from.

handled that deep powder like a boss. silverado broke a driveshaft but still not bad.

nothing beats those modified toyota helix for the north pole special. those cars were bout that life.

season is :pimp: :pimp: so far and strong start with argentine special.

That Raptor was badass in yesterdays episode :smokin

That is the first truck other than an Escalade or G-Wagon that I would consider getting. Episode was comedy with Hammond going off on them :lol:

Is anyone else's Top Gear feed consistently cutting out for a ridiculous amount of ad breaks?
