***New Reebok Pick-Ups, Release Info, etc.***

Pretty sure they were hexalite with a little diamond shaped hole on the sole underneath the heal. Definitely had them sometime between 1990 and 1993. I also want to say they came out about the same time as the Tim Hardaways because I wanted those but my Mom got me the Reebok pair instead. I've searched all over the Internet and I can find no sign of them.

This is not the shoe but the color scheme was similar to this. I am 90 percent sure there was no pump on them because I remember thinking that was odd. I thought that would have been the dead giveaway. They were also more of a streamlined design than the normal blacktops were.

They were really similar to these but I seem to remember a Graphlite plate on bottom. I will keep looking around. Thought us being close to the same age you might know. Starting to think I am imagining a dream shoe.
I have an image of the black pair too, but I cant find it for some reason, it was very interesting, it looked like it was sprayed with graphics and different colors, once I find it will post. I believe it was called Insta Pump Outlaw.

Those need to retro'd like, right now...

Trent - you are my hero. I'm still not insane!!!! I wanted those so bad but used my discount on the Shaqs and Jordan's. Te black/green were very Kamikaze-like. Thanks.

Yes sir, the black and green pair was super dope, I loved it, it was the top Preseason model with all the latest technology in one shoe, of course it was way too expensive for me.

The full pump, no lace bball shoes always intrigued me.

The Romulus and there was another similar model

They were probably closest to the second one but they were not that high. And they were streamlined too without the signature blacktop shape. To be honest they looked a lot more like a Nike shoe than Reebok. I wish I could find a release list because I'm also sure they were probably one of the last shoes to come out with the Blacktop name.

@trentbg - Whenever you post lists like that, I realise how limited the range was that got to Australia (or at least my part of Australia!). I had Battleground IIs and IIIs, but both were from the US. And those 2nd ones with the plastic exoskeleton structure is something I've never seen in person, and I think only in 1 other picture online.

Insta Pump Romulus is more rare than a naked stripper in a mosk, truly one of my all time grail models!

I have a few more sugestions, will post the pics in a bit. The last Blacktop models that I can think of were the Alternative (the one in my avatar) and the Gauntlet, which had Hexalite in both heel and forefoot area.

Anyone have a pair of Reebok GL 6000s? How's the sizing? My usual size is a 12 -- not sure if they fit anything like the Ventilator, but I tried half size down to 11.5 on a pair of Ventilators recently and found the instep a little more snug/rubby than I like. So I went 12 on those.

What have I been missing out on?!??? Over there paying crazy prices for nike and getting dum quality when I pay $100 shipped and get this butter!!!! I'm so in love!!!!
