was there a tuned air basketball shoe? help finding a shoe

I know exactly the shoe that we're all thinking of... couldn't find it with a preliminary search though. I was really into air max back then, and thought TN Air was the next biggest thing!

Yess this was the colorway of my shoes!!! I also remember some sort of mesh/reflective/foil like material in the midsole, is this making any sense to you?

I don't think anybody mentioned the Air Force Max Plus yet.

Pics aren't that easy to find. Look in circa fall 97 eastbay catalog, you might find one.

Other than that, i think they've all been mentioned.

(OG) Garnett 3 is easy enough to find.

Flyers and Tuned Forces are kinda scarce... the Air Force Max Plus, is a rarity.

tried looking online for some pics of a '98-'99 Eastbay catalog but all I could find was a fall 1997...

There were quite a few, but I dont recall all the names. Tuned air came after zoom air, and both vanished when nike came out with its next big gimmik, shox.

Swingshot is on point. The Air Force Max Plus is the original first Tuned Air basketball shoe. It had a Tuned Air unit in the back with a forefoot visible Airsole, internal bootie upper, Phylon midole, and a solid rubber outsole with an articulated forefoot and TPU midfoot shank at the cost of $124.99. Its on the front page of the winter of 1998 Eastbay. Another Tuned Air bball shoe was the Air Tuned Uptempo, very similar to this shoe actually. Sorry I can't post a pic; my scanner doesn't work!
