NT, What Beer Do You Drink?

^it's A LOT of booze though

>17% ABV

My local bottle shop has or had 4 packs at $49.99 and singles at $16.99 I think...easy pass

Wanted to try it but not that bad

Pizza Boy had that Higher Math and Fort on draft for $4.50 for an 8 oz pour so I tried it there

My Whole Foods has them but I didn't check the price

Having a Lawson's "Sip of Sunshine" right now. Really does live up to the hype.

^I really wish I could find that around my way. This and the DIPA have been on my wish list for the longest. :smh:

Yea, I could do with being a bit more discerning when it comes to what I buy. Admittedly blind buying is part of the fun of it to me. If it's $2 or less and sounds interesting I`ll take a chance on it.

Had the HLV. It was forgettable.

Also had my first Guinness. Extra Stout to be exact. I didn't realize it was a different type of stout than the ones I've previously had. It wasn't bad, but I didn't really like it. Knowing what I know now I want to try Cadillac mountain stout to give the style another try.

Got GI`s festivity ale too. It reminded me of trois pistoles but not nearly as refined. Boozy too.

Had the Bliss tonight. Not bad. Want to look into better examples of it.

Would love to try some milk stouts but that lactose is liable to **** me up.

What's the best way to reseal some of these larger beers out there?

I brew...well, I've brewed a few times before, and I have an inexpensive capper and a bunch of caps. I re-seal that way, sometimes using the original cap if it isn't too bent. Still want to drink soon, though. Maybe gives you two days. Best way to drink a bomber? With your partner or take to a bottle share.

^i completely forgot that i have a capper...probably have some caps as well

i've been jamming corks in bomber bottles that i don't drink in one sitting

Decided to open a 2015 BCBS last night. Liked it better than when fresh but still not my thing. Probably wait another year to open the next.

Also bear in mind there's a lot of batch variation this year.  Apparently people are saying the 10/10 batch is really boozy, whereas the 10/26 batch is about as close to perfect as you can get.  Thankfully all of my bottles are 10/26.

Different batches also had different ABV. I know that people in Houston received the batches with the lower ABV ( as well as Georgia due to state regulations) but up in Dallas we received the higher/boozier batch.

Yo. Typo on my initial post… 2013, not 2015! That aging really helped with the heat.

Yea I got one of these joints. Carbonation is still pretty bad/mostly gone, but better than nothing

Oops. I did it again.

Went Christmas shopping for some people. They got stuff. I got stuff. I hope it's a win win.

O'Dell ipa for me. Seemingly fresh at 3-30-16 best by. Always worth a retry given price point.

Not pictured. Shiner family reunion mixed pack plus pictured some weihenstephaner original for the pops.

I bought some stuff that had been tasting really nice for me lately.

Pilsner urquell. 12 pack went so quickly. Got another. Becoming a go to type chugger no non sense beer.

3 day old elevated. Can't pass that up. 1 day old project dank getting a run in tonight.

Does anyone know if fbs gets restocks throughout its 'season'? One place was out for foreseeable future. So I stocked up a bit more.

Born yesterday has been tasting delightful given its price point and age. Going on 2 months old.

Think I'm set for the next couple weeks.. I swear.

No whale chasing. Just good ol fashion regularly available on shelf type stuff

The SA coffee stout was :pimp:

Buying singles at Publix/Winn dixie can really work out in your favor when they have a general price for every beer.

What's the deal with SA's side car amber ale?

At least it was a good beer to do it with

.  Victory at Sea is underrated.  Right up there with FBS.

All Green Everything on tap at the bar down the road from me.  Best believe I just finished off my pint and brought a growler home for the Jets vs. Cowboys game tonight.

Happy Saturday, NT.
