NT, What Beer Do You Drink?

I found a spot close to my work that has FBS on sale for 8.99 which the cheapest I've seen it. Didn't get any but there still seems to be a surplus of it around here. I did grab this. Any in the Chicagoland area try it? Semi new brewery. Their coffee was pretty solid.

Most recent pickups from the last few weeks.

TRVE bottle release pickups first up (four bottles of the Prairie collab brewed at TRVE - barrel-fermented & aged peach Gose & CVLT II allotment [oak-fermented saison with Earl Grey, Earl Grey with rose petals and Assam teas])...

Then yesterday's haul - TRVE Cursed (sour), TRVE Buried Sun (mixed culture French saison), Prairie X TRVE And Friends (sour red), The Bruery X Maine Beer Co. Fourthmeal & Pipeworks Crimson Snapper (Imperial IPA brewed with honey, blood orange juice and dry-hopped with Citra).

So sculpin pineapple was a disappointment lol

not a huge fan of porters and stout but IMO this is one of the smoothest

^that moody tongue is crazy good. I bought 4 bottles but they were like $8 a pop. It's my 3 favorite things combined in a beer and there is a lot going on. I love it.

This is a pretty solid mix.

Xmas bomb and Coffee stout.

Any oregon folks in here? Recommendations? Planning a trip in May for Portland and likely hitting up Eugene, Bend looks like it'd be too far. Got Deschutes, Hair of the Dog, Logsdon & Block 15 on the list so far.

Great Notion is supposedly brewing IPAs that can compete with Tree House and Trillium.

Going to Dallas for a week any good local brews or Texas beers in general that I need to be looking out for?

The craft scene has blown up over the past five years. Plenty of great local DFW and Texas breweries to try.

Where are you staying?

Deep Ellum, Grapevine Craft and Community are local to dallas.

Im in Austin so my knowledge of Dallas breweries is quite limited.

Shannon Brewing is in Keller, Texas which is close to Dallas. Their chocolate stout is amazing in a can so Id imagine on draft it would be even better

Kbs out today. Anyone biting? Worth it? Had it once via a trade. Seemed good. Price is up there but not crazy

There's definitely a good amount of choices.

Peticolas, Lakewood, Four Corners & Revolver are all local as well.

I'd say to check Deep Ellum and Community if hitting actual breweries.

There's plenty locally to find at bars and bottle shops as well. Pirate Bomb just hit shelves this week too.

This really is one of the better beers I've had in a while

FAM...

If you have an extra bottle of this and might be willing to do a trade, PLEASE let me know. I have a bunch of stuff right now that might interest you.

...also, I'm half Panamanian if that helps.

Welp. Won't be visiting any underwhelming local breweries this weekend.

Not pictured. Another fbs 4 pack, and a 12 pack dos equis. May the good times roll.

3 day old elevated. 5 day old marble ipa. 6 wk old pils. All local. So I'm definitely sticking to what's deemed respectable
