NT, What Beer Do You Drink?

If you live in Boston and haven't been to Trillium, I don't know what you're doing with your life.

Hell...you're close enough to Monson to warrant a trip out to Treehouse as well.

Haven't been out to Trillium but I've had plenty of it. It's been fairly easy to get a wide variety of it here. Liquor store behind my house was stocked up with it heavy for a while but it's all dried up now. A few places had a good variety on tap as well.

Having one of these now to close out the game. Really foamy head and a very light and crisp taste. I like this one a lot, just grabbed one can today but I'll try to stock up on some tomorrow.

and singlecut is excellent but they run about $7 for a 500 ml bottle from what i've seen and Trillium bottles start at $8 for a 750 ml if bought from the source

Only have a few left. Don't hate on my cup, keeps it at the perfect temp while I enjoy it

Lagunitas has a born again, yesterday pale ale that I was pretty excited to try

Until I realized it's draft only and most likely won't get a crack at it

Beer tasting with the homies this past weekend. That non-descript crowler is Carton Boat. Session ales ftw.

All that Tired Hands!

Gonna be in Philly for a few days starting on Saturday. Haven't been for a couple years...excited to get back to Tired Hands, especially the new Fermentaria.

^If you're going to only be there a few days you probably won't be there when they do a can release

they've been doing them most weeks i think and they usually fall on a Wednesday or Thursday...they typically announce a release the day prior and ppl line up before they start selling

been wanting to get down that way at some point but being in the middle of a work week and having two young kids has prevented me from doing it

always growlers any day of the week though...i think the policy has been the same for the past couple of years...they only fill their growlers but will exchange a growler you bring for one of theirs

I too think I'm down to maybe 3 Xoco's. 2 cases wasn't enough. With all this talk and recollection, I'm thinking of turning half of a left hand milk stout clone homebrew into a xocoveza clone blend. Or maybe do just half of our ten gallon batch. Thanks guys fore the recommendation lol. I'll post up the process etc. in the coming days

We're there this coming Saturday & Sunday. Then back next Saturday.

I've seen the can releases on random days on Instagram. If they happen to have some hanging around, cool. If not, I'm not sweating it. If I can drink a bunch on tap and maybe take a growler back to share at the in-laws if we feel like it, I'll be happy.

I've got 2 Xoco's left in the fridge. Trying not to kill them anytime soon. If I'm really wanting a good stout the store behind my house almost always has FBS in stock so that can usually hold me over.

Having another Backlash ricochet tonight.

Is there an Abita shortage or something? Haven't seen Purple Haze or any Abita around in a minute and these places are usually stocked up.

I have 3 2015 Xoco bottles left and a 2014 bomber left.
A local spot just threw a keg of it on tonight, so I'm heading over there tomorrow. Hopefully it doesn't kick quick.

. Well its happening. A couple gallons of homebrew milk stout will become Xocoveza with the Xocoveza spices (pasilla chile, nutmeg, vanilla beans, cinnamon, cocoa nibs, and coffee).

But there probably lies another 2 gallons of experimental extra milk stout. What should I try? I'm thinking dried coconut shavings? Maybe that and some vanilla beans? I can't think too clearly. There's wide variety I'm missing out on I'm sure.

Vanilla + coconut sounds great
