If there was a west coast team, I'm sure the times would be different. Is what it is
Nah. it's definitely because they don't want teams playing at the same time. Probably a deal with the networks.

There was a Dodger game at 2pm either last year or the year before. :smh:

That was probably the DS though. I meant they'd probably have the Mets/Cubs be like a 5:30 game and the WC be an 8:30 game.

But, I could also just be talking outta my ***.

The amount of pressure on this dude, especially after losing game 2 in that manner is monumental. I think he's mentally cooked. If he comes out dealing early he might have a shot though
Last game he was dealing early and lost it late though. The ump was squeezing him but he still couldn't get through the inning.

I wanted to watch ALCS series. Their game starts one hour before my work is done for the day. I will be on my way to home and miss half of their game. I am tired of watching games on my iPhone or iPad. I like watching games on television.

Can someone embed the 30 for 30 clip of "Angels in the Outfield" that CollegeHumor posted today on YouTube? I'm on mobile. It's hilarious haha.

Mattingly gone :pimp:

Now let's see who replaces him

I think they have more important pieces to concern themselves with before Mattingly's replacement.

I won't pretend to say I know he was good or bad or that replacing him isn't still important but, I can tell from watching that team that you could have put (Insert best MGR) in that dugout and they'd still be done for the year. I don't know how they kept winning to end the year. Corey Seager was looking like playoff Daniel Murphy though when he got his call up and was winning games all on his own

Mets expected to go with a rotation of deGrom, Syndergaard, Harvey, Matz in the World Series, in that order.

I like it.

i would've considered switching Harvey & Syndergaard so Thor can pitch at home but than Syndergaard would be lined up to pitch a potential game 7

I know what you mean. Thor is a better hitter. He pitches better at home than road. If the Mets are down 0-2, Harvey is a great stopper. He has talents for it. Plus I'd choose Harvey over Thor if we go to game 7. That's why I like this rotation.

Having Colon to short-leash any of them is solid.

Clippard shouldn't see pivotal time on the mound; only if it's a blowout.

I need Murphy to stroke a couple more dongs in the world series. Would love to see either he or Harvey get the MVP. Wright would be cool, too.

If the Royals make it I'm rooting for the Mets.
If Toronto makes it I'm rooting for them. I'm sorry JRS.
