Does Tanner Roark always struggle early?

I've seen him pitch 3 times including tonight.

The last time he never made it out of the 3rd inning and gave up 4 or 5 runs.

And the first time I saw him he got lit up for like 4 or 5 in the first 2 innings and then went like 6 more innings throwing filthy good.....just wondering

Nope, just depends on if his fastball is moving. If it's got good movement and he's locating he'll breeze through games, otherwise he gets rocked.

Wilson Ramos is an All-Star. Probably won't make the game, but he's the best offensive catcher in the game this year.

Nats have gone back-to-back 9 times this year, nice to see Harper get his first opposite field homer this year :pimp:

He's fun to watch when he's on.

sidenote: LAD has to be the worst watch in MLB. Absolute rubbish man.

Didn't realize how much money Longo has left on his deal. No way the Mets make that move.
Cozart is a sensible, reasonable trade target since Cincy are sellers. A lot more affordable financially and with trade pieces than Longo.

Either Ramos or Lucroy in NL. Salvy for AL.

Cubs up 13 games on Pittsburgh????? Damn, to be honest though, Pirates were highly overrated. Slightly above average team, at best.

Not to pile on, but imagine what lasting impact last year's play-in game has on the Pittsburgh Pirates. Arrieta blanked them for the CG SHO and Cole got tagged by Fowler/Schwarber.

"Cutch" is slumping again, think he did the same thing last season with a slow start. Also have a feeling Cole will miss more starts than Clint Hurdle is initially leading on.

Pirates could be in serious trouble looking ahead. Battling STL within their own division plus LAD and NYM for a WC spot.

Anyone have experience with U.S. Cellular Field ("New Comiskey")? Want to catch Jays/White Sox next Saturday. Ugly pitching matchup but I have an 8-hour layover at O'Hare anyway. Want something to do besides Giordano's/Lou Malnati's.

Go to Harold's and cop a 6 piece wing dinner with salt and pepper and mild sauce on the side.

Or check out some of these spots in Chinatown:
-Strings (Ramen)
-MingHin Cuisine (Dim sum)
-Joy Yees, Saint's Alp, or Chi Cafe for dinner
-Kung Fu Tea (Boba tea)

All close to U.S. Cellular.

Arstyle being extra grumpy tonight

I'm good lol. I'm being honest when I say that the Pirates aren't all that great. Didn't thing we'd be 13 up, but I figured we'd be 7-9 games ahead at this point.

And the White Sox are bums. Some dummies actually thought they'd be good after that hot/abnormal start. Lolololol, delusional Sox fans talking all that trash. Losers.
