Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

I was skeptical about Edge of Tomorrow but it's getting love on RT (90%+)

Haven't seen much chatter (may have missed it) about it in this thread

This has a decent cast... I like a good romcom type every once in a while...

BTW, are the suits really making a remake of The Raid?!??! They really have ran out of ideas...

@TheFilmStage: 'Eastbound & Down' may be over, but Jody Hill and Danny McBride have reunited for 'Vice Principals,' which will run at least 18 eps on HBO.

Hmmm

So now you're a lame and a perv if you watch BBT?
Nah just a lame. Perv for the other show.

Yeah I always like these type of movies and with Bateman and Fey it'll be great. Nice to see Rose Byrne and my boy Corey Stoll in this. Also Britton and Olyphant is in this. Hard not to watch.

Plus Jane Fonda with implants :pimp:
I like Big Bang Theory.

inb4 "It all makes sense now"
Nah, we been had our it all makes sense now moment with you. This is more par for the course.

Sounds interesting. Can see this going the Gatsby route as well, in terms of the visuals and heavy use of VFX.

Would love a serious biopic though in the future.
Hope it doesn't go the Gatsby route with the visuals. I mean it is a period piece. Gatsby was just bad the way they did it. I'd be fine with this having the same look RDJR's Sherlock movies have.

As mentioned in the link I do think the biopic will be best the Houdini anything. So hopefully that gets done soon.
Johnny Depp Getting Ready To Play Houdini In An Indiana Jones-Style Adventure Movie

I'm there.

EDIT

Catherine Zeta-Jones is so beautiful and so cool.

this is one of the worst decisions Hollywood can make. Not only are they going to ruin the legacy of Houdini, but Johnny Depp is going to play another hokey character
First off **** Houdini's legacy. He should've had some living descendants that own the rights to his story instead f it ending up in public domain or w/e.

This is what Hollywood does and I really don't think this is the worse decision they can make.

This thread moves too fast for me most of the time.

Have y'all talked about The Leftovers at all? I'm intrigued. I wasn't really satisfied with Lindelof on Lost but I think this could work being based on the book.

Don't think it's been discussed yet. I don't know much about it, but I'm generally willing to give any HBO series a shot. That said, Lindeloff is still on my $&@" list for Lost and, to a lesser extent, Prometheus. Still, I'm planning to check out Leftovers.

Came in here to post this. I am excite.

Count me out on the Houdini Johnny quest movie. A bio pick maybe. But yuckkkkkk

I have been watching the venture bros. about 3 seasons in. The character development for a cartoon is outstanding. When the show gets into a groove it's really on point.

Now that I think about it Howard is last because he's the only one that actually tries to be funny.

But Sheldon + Amy = comedic gold

Hmmm

If Steve Little isn't involved I'm going to whinge a lot

The Eastbound 4th season finale was so ******* funny. :wow:  My lungs hurt for minutes.

And there I was thinking...why are they bringing it back? Why ruin that season 3 ending? :smh:

I must've watched that finale 5 times now.
