You get right on MOS, and I will swing my vote on Hobo. Not a moment sooner.

Rian Johnson, Star Wars........************ I can't wait to see Bryan Cranston as a Sith. :pimp:

I rewatched Runner Runner the other night and after the Hansel/Gretel mention it's clear, I need more Gemma Atherton in my life.

Delicious.

runner runner was terrible. gemma can have it all :wow:

Watched the controversial (at least around here) Man of Steel last night. I didn't think it was an abomination, but didn't think it was great either. It was strongly ok. The parts were there - just didn't come together for me. The best way I can describe my issue with it is to say I felt it lacked heart. No humor or real depth to the characters. I'd take the old Chris Reeves Superman over it any day.

is that a 6/8 rating? if so, seems about right.

Rian Johnson to write and direct 8th Star Wars, will just write 9th - http://wp.me/p2CCWq-3Ge

does that mean jj will direct star trek 3 :nerd: .

NT would implode.

What are your favorite ****** movies?

Point Break is legendary. Eh. Maybe just anything with Keanu where he's not Neo (... but sometimes still playing Neo????) is unintentionally hilarious

Con Air anyone???!!!
"PUT THE BUNNY BACK IN THE BOX" > life itself

Starship Troopers is probably my all time

Con Air and Face Off are up there

Con Air was on point. I liked Sucker Punch even though most hated it. Demolition Man and Mortal Kombat.

Reno 911 - Assignment Miami Beach. I think its hilarious.

And does Anaconda count? Jon Voight's performance is a tour de force in perfect overacting.

Planet of the Apes has a very weak cast. They could have done a better job with all the money the last movie made.

Sucker Punch is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Special effects, 10/10. Plot, 0/10. Overall, 5/10.

My grandparents love Frankie Valli so I went with them to see the Jersey Boys today.

It was pretty solid. I enjoyed it. Dragged a little bit but for the most part it was a very solid flick 7.5/10

Dawn trailers all look dope... I just hope Gary Oldman's character isn't as boring and predictable as the trailers make him out to be...

Rian Johnson on Star Wars... :pimp: All for the directorial decisions Disney has made with this franchise so far.

Sooo random thought... But Noah came and went didn't it? An aronofsky movie came out and not many people seemed to care

I have no idea what he was thinking. I guess he wanted that "passion" money. I'm sure I'll see it one day.

Question...why is it cool to like Natural Born Killers but not Scareface? Like, that doesn't seem fair. Scareface didn't even have ...[bad] scene...

I was supposed to go see it, but I ****** up the plans for it. :smh: And I saw Black Swan, Wrester and Fountain in theaters, so that was dumb. Aronofsky films...just always have this like force of personality and myth building. Always an interesting theater experience...even if the theater's pretty much empty (Fountain |I).

But yeah, when Noah first got announced and the trailer dropped, I was kinda hyped, but then they edited out all the really interesting stuff from the first trailer in all their later marketing/commercials...and I dunno...it looked like any old movie after a while or like he bit off more than he could chew. So when I missed out on it and the reviews came out shaky, I kinda ye shrugged.

sidebar: I remember day 1 of Netflix back in like '02, first recommendations: Requiem, Fight Club and Donnie Darko. Blew my mind. :nthat:

Sa Da Tay!

First and foremost, Oliver Stone stole my idea for a movie, killer spree...just for kicks. Second of all, damn good movie. Natural Born Killers, 'every species kills species. You call it industry, I call it murder, same thing.'
