I forgot about his on stage work, again, he just does so many different things, but never really gets any credit for those efforts.

keanu is the type of guy that marches to his own beat. sounds like a good dude.

Speaking of Keanu, I caught some of Devil's Advocate on TV the other day and it's unintentionally kind of hilarious.

That movie was awesome in a weird way. The "How Did This Get Made?" podcast did an episode about The Devil's Advocate. I couldn't stop laughing.

I think "They Came Together" will be the best "indie" movie to come out. I haven't seen it yet, but I think it'll be pretty good.

He signed away the back end money the 2 Matrix sequels to the special-effects and costume-design team. The back end money ended up being apprx $75 mill.

He also gave back millions when he did Devil's Advocate so the producers could get Al Pachino & ditto for when he did The Replacements so he could work with Gene Hackman.

Don't feel bad though, he's said to have made $35 mill for the 3 Matrix movies...

I never liked the Bill & Ted movies but I do like when he plays odd balls like he did in Parenthood & I Love You To Death.

Keanu just seems like a decent dude and plays very relatable characters in most of his films.

He's in shape but not huge like a Stallone or Arnold and he's handsome but not in a Pitt way. He's just a guy you don't mind seeing on the big screen and like some have said, he always takes interesting and odd roles.

watched this last night on a whim ... one of the greatest films ive seen in a while ... great cinematography, funny as hell in a subtle way and brendan gleeson killed it ... highly recommended

Taxi Driver (the main theme is brilliant, that jazzy bluesy feel of NY during that dark, decadent era)
Drive (A Real Hero is awesome)
Hitchcock films with Bernard Herman composing the score
TDK and TDKR (score and sound were brilliant and both)

There's more that I can't remember. Music in Film was one of the best classes I took in college. Yeah, my teacher was a joke and passed everyone, but it really opened me up to something I had overlooked completely.

Read the title wrong at first and thought, "why would anyone make a movie about the Chili Peppers' bassist? Plus, he's easy to find - he regularly shows up to Lakers games." Glad this movie is something else.
