Side bar: Chris Kyle's widow, Taya, is very attractive to me. Wanted to make sweet love to her at the Oscars.
I agree. To me, he's only a notch above guys like Jeremy Renner.
I mean what's his top five acting performances?
Sniper, Hustle, SLP, Limitless, and Place Beyond the Pines?
Sniper was the first time he was the best actor in any of those films, and that's because the film was solely focused on him.
Perfect analogy. And in a year where we saw four of the five Best Actors were performing other people, he was arguably the worst of that group. Carrell, Redmayne, and Cumberbatch had better performances IMO, and I wasn't even that big of a fan of Foxcatcher. I mean, I'd even go as far to say that I liked David Oyelowo better AND Miles Teller more than Bradley Cooper more, and I was kind of upset they were snubbed of nominations. Keaton, Redmayne, and Cumberbatch were the three front-runners of this year I feel like.
Overall, this year wasn't all that great in terms of Best Actor. I feel like Matthew McConaughey, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Leo were all better than the field this year.
Julianne Moore on the other hand, turned out one of the best performances of the 2010s.
