Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Maybe their best episodes could go toe to toe with Seinfeld's best, but Seinfeld was consistently funny it's entire run. Even once Larry David left and they went more broad and absurd, it was still hilarious. There's not a bad episode of Seinfeld. The Office, meanwhile, has a few entire seasons I could skip over.

Season 8 of The Office automatically disqualifies it from being on the same level, that was brutal tv to watch.

However I will say the best seasons of The Office (2,3, and most of 4) match up with the best seasons of Seinfeld or any comedy.

Seinfeld gets mad play in here for 3/4 pages, every 10/15 pages.

Has it always been that way in here?

how would you compare mad men to house of cards?

considering making it my next show
a bit different tbh.

The genres are much different, the pacing is different (Mad Men is much much slower, especially since the stakes aren't quite as high as HoC)

Add in the 60s, and the accompanying acting and the two shows have very little in common.

However the story, direction, the majority of the acting, and production is top notch; much like House of Cards.

hmm ill check it out

going to take some getting used to since i only really know jon hamm from the idiot characters he plays on 30 rock and parks and rec
