I heard it does, but a person should look at the book as more of a self improvement book that should make you see how pointless it is to just randomly pick up girls at night and sleep with them.  It should show you that at the end of the day you don't get that sense of compassion that you can get from a significant other.  Not to spoil the book, but at the end that's exactly what the author finally realizes.
 
On The Road. Looking back i don't think it's that great a book and it's not even Kerouac's best work but it really expanded my horizons as far as literature goes.

Malice's book made me reevaluate things. Saying it changed my life may be an exaggeration but it definitely had an impact. Crazy seeing one of my favorite artists turn their life around and reading about all the stuff he went through
