Wayne Gretzky's card nets $94,163 vol.. what was the best card you had ?

Ridiculous. I'd at least want it to have an auto for that much.

I sold this card to a card shop for $675,but that's before they did grading (and before Colorado).  I bet a 9.5 grade is worth a few thousand. I also sold a Iverson card for $100 and a Marbury card for $70.

I have a bunch of cards at home. I started my collection in the early 90's and just kept adding. Only bad thing is that some cards are in tin boxes and some in card sleeves. I will post pics tonight.

I got a bunch of old basketball, football and baseball cards in the garage that are atleast 15 - 20 years old.

I have a Bo Jackson Kansas City Royals Rookie Card in mint condition. Its still in it's glass case. I believe the card is from 87'. How much is it worth? A buck

I have a very extesive card collection, everything from Hockey to Basketball. I havent collected in more than a decade, but have had a majority of my valuable cards graded. I wanted to share a story with you guys though. In 89 when Upperdeck made its debut I purchased a box at a shop. I still remember opening each one of those packs anticipating a Griffey RC, which I ended up pulling 4

. That's not the best card I pulled from the box though....

(Not my actual card, but posted for reference)

The Dale Murphy Reverse Negative. Beckett had this thing listed at $189 at the time of my pull, but I knew I would get more if I held out as long as possible. I used to go to card shows and I don't know if any of you have ever attended one or even know what the atmosphere was like back at this time, but it was intense. I came across a dealer who offered me $400 for it and I was
eek.gif
. Till this day my Dad & I still laugh at the story because I immediately asked to see the money from the guy

. Long story short I parted with that card that day and never regreted it. Honestly I didn't like Dale Murphy or the Braves.

You think he is taller?
cmon, in the cartoon he's bigger than the buildings
You do realize that that building is in the distance right?

You must have thought Ash was 6' with a crazy vert.
