the first ones are my fav running shoes of all time. got a pair on ice. i'll look out for these, but more importantly, will look out for the first to cop on the low

Why is the strap the same color on each pair?

The originals are definitely better looking IMO.

They also replaced the floating heel strap with a floating heel cup. ALL the Lunar running series starting to look alike.
At least with the Flywire they seems to hold an identity of each own, now, they all have straps. Which makes the overall look about the same.
 
Welp, looks like I'll have to pick up a few more pairs of the first gen and leave it at that. I'm sure these will look better in person but as of now, it seems Nike couldn't leave well enough alone; true to form.

Btw that pic up there above the wht/red is way off

All in all, I agree. The design looks good, but it doesn't top the OG. I like that Women's Mocha cw though. They're definitely something different for a modern day runner...

Also, click on OP's link, there are some Eclipse1 cws I haven't seen before... i.e. The Black and Orange...
