I think the Red Nike SB hit on the outsole represents the carpet and the back heel panel represent the velvet ropes.

My guess would be that the "flashes" on the shoe is 3m material so they actually light up in a photo instead of the whole shoe becoming white so you can't see the shoe.

I always thought a Purple Rain sb would be dope if executed properly with the mix of purple, silver, black, white and a hint of the animal print.

That would be dope for a drive inspired SB. Pink translucent outsole to see the scorpion that's on the jacket. And the upper is a leather based on the colors of the jacket with a black swoosh

Reserving opinion on BP until a few more pics drop. 

Excuse the regular dunk talk that I'm about to proceed with, but I wanted to share with the thread.

This week I turned 30 and my Mom (who knows next to nothing about shoes, other than her son loves them) got on NikeID (though she was given that idea) and designed a pair of kicks for me for the milestone birthday all on her own as a surprise. She ended up choosing the Dunk Highs, so I thought I would share. Complete with the 1984 embroidery haha.

Obviously the thought behind these makes them an instant favorite in my collection. I was really surprised that she did that for the kid. Sometimes its the story behind the design of the shoes that gets some of us. Sometimes it's the story about how we GOT the shoes that gets us. It's those cases where both of those worlds collide that really make me dig these.

Back to your regularly scheduled SB Dunk program....thanks for letting me share.

Dude who does preorders on one of the Facebook groups just posted bp is dropped august 2 at bp, then august 9, everywhere else. Hopefully that stupid camera is the branding, that totally ruins the shoe for me

I would say instead of see-through pink outsole, you gotta make it a clear outsole (no color, not even blue tint) and the bottoms have DRIVE in pink. Then the scorpions hang off the back (or the front as a lace ornament).

Yeah a blazer would be dope too. And your idea is pretty dope too sometimes I forget about the blazer. Speaking of which whatever happened to another diamond collab that was supposed to happen after the tiffs? I heard those are supposed to be blazers
