For some reason I've always had this image of Cali where there's a skateshop on every other corner.

Like how NY has bodegas everywhere Cali just has skateshops

yet Boston has Bodega

. If my corner store sold Jordans or SBs id be the happiest mother f....

I'm good on the Rivalry pack.  That patent is not looking good.

Looks like my wallet can breathe for a bit on new stuff.  Time to catch up on some older gems.

Those AJ1 X SB are throughly 'meh' to me. Whenever I'm on the fence about a sneaker, dudes beastin' about them in my local FB groups have a way of pushing me further away from copping. Anyway, I'm off of my old man soap box. Kinda bummed that there's no St. Patty's drop this year, that PS of green YOTH joints had me salivating for the 'what if'. Maybe these green AJ1 X SB were also the green SB release of the month for the holiday :rolleyes

Those caro joints are hot imo.
I'm a newbie when it comes to SBs i just recently picked up the Valentines Day SBs n fell in love now It's those Carolina's since i missed Tue AJKO pack.

Yeah I guess it all comes down to what are they worth to you. If I really wanted those I'd pay. But I get overcharged all the time.

I was out and about last night and never got around to responding to this, but I agree with your statement. I hate haggling on prices, if I feel comfortable with the set price of a shoe I'll go ahead and buy. Knowing that I'm getting a pair I was after is worth more than quibbling over what would amount to about a 5% difference in price. Things change when it's something that I'm not 100% into though, if I've been watching a pair (and I've kept my eye on the BTTYS SB pack for a while now) and have seen them sit for a long time I tend to think it's because the market no longer values that pair at the price the seller wants.

Repped. I agree and feel this is a good way of looking at pricing/what you feel a shoe is worth.

They ruined a perfectly good pair of Munis. I'm not a big fan of customized dunks, especially customizations that try to recreate a look of a scrapped release

Those Forbes on the last page; why did I sell my collection sigh

I finally caught up in the this thread; I'm hungover as a mother from my buddies wedding and lost my subglassss

You are right i shouldn't have knocked them.

I do a lot of sneaker drawings, but have never tried using an actual sneaker as a canvas.
I sort of admire those individuals that at least make the attempt.
I'm just too scared to try and screw up and mess up a pair of sneakers, even if they are old.

Man I hate eBay sellers who don't list their items properly.

I've been looking for a pair of DS 9.5 Ron Burgundys for a while now and got pretty excited when a pair popped up this morning with a BIN of $55.

Buzz kill came when I went to the listing and looked at the pictures and then read in the description that they were used.
