I've been lurking this thread for a while, just never contributed due to my incredible lack of SB knowledge.

check out sean_wotherspoon on instagram, guy has an incredible collection of classic SBs that actually got me interested in them.

Hopefully my trip through the consignment stores in RVA tomorrow will be profitable.

I don't mind creases cause it's the nature of the beast.. But for why is it that different leathers crease differently? For instance.. I have some SB's with just smooth waves, some with no crease and then some with that ramp looking thing similar to what you've got.. Is that solely due to the quality of the leather?

Fake/Cheap leather doesnt bend the way its supposed to.

I just finished reading Fresh off the Boat, as a fellow first gen American, I highly recommend it for anyone that grew up as an outsider confused by popular American culture/misunderstood by others. I'd been reading it off and on for a few weeks, savoring each section and trying not to blow through the book like I do with so many others. I had to stop reading to laugh in bed so many times that my girl would always ask me to read out loud the section that had me giggling each night.

In honor of that, breaking out the Baos today.

I read the book in one day and laughed uncontrollably a few times.  My girl of 11 years is a 1st generation Asian American and I can't tell you how dope it was to finally see someone representing a large demographic of people that, in my opinion, had never had a voice.

The release of the the Baohaus SBs marked my first exposure to Eddie Huang. My girl loves Baos so I did a little Googling so I could tell her about the dude that had a restaurant and had also released some dunks.  After reading a lot of Eddie's articles, blog posts, youtubes, vice shows, etc. I quickly became a fan.  FYI ,keep your eyes peeled for another book he has coming out in 2016.
