I think the only thing I like out of this whole cncpts release is the sockliner on the lows. :\ Nonetheless glad to see those who wanted them got them. For those still waiting on the mail...Patience my friends.

I gave my original pair of '07 to my brother. Dude sold them at a yard sale for $20 smfh. Lesson learned, I don't pass down kicks anymore lol

my main local didn't get them at all, and they are talking about dropping Nike completely

I just heard that my only local, that got 4 or 5 Dunk sb releases PER year because they just don't sell here, is also dropping nike. I can't say that I'm surprised or blame them, this city is JB or bust

They sell more pairs than the other stores
His biggest reason is that the kids don't do dunks for the most part
The core shop supporters don't do Nike anything
I think it's a bad idea, nothing wrong with bringing in different groups
We will see if it really happens.... though I get it that Nike is kind of a pain to shop owners

I believe the NY store ran out of wooden boxes and had to mail some.

Concepts didn't have 300 pairs in the New York store like they stated.. I was #170 in line and they had ran out by the time I got in there.. They said the boxes would be mailed to us when we paid in store they took our shipping info.
Seems like they the boxes we got were made on a later date and probably rushed.. They don't have the stained wood detailing or the bigger nobs the store version had

I guess I wouldn't be surprised by that move if they dropped nike. They do have a nice selection of other brands in store and I can see how a lot of the core customers could pass up Nike being that southside has it's skatepark there as well and I assume the core ppl are skaters not collectors. Dunks aren't bad for skating but I can honestly say the number of ppl I see skating them other than myself is low.
