I think if you don't authenticate yourself they can tie it up. It's been years since I set up my paypal account and I think for the first 5 years I was only sending money out not ever getting any in. It's super fishy that the only way for this person to get around the delay in payment is to do the one thing paypal warns you against ever doing.

i also told the guy i would let paypal know the transaction was complete and everything was good to go so he can get his "tied up money"

Lol i messaged a dude on ebay who was actually local to me and was about 20 minutes away and i asked if i could get a deal so he could avoid fees and shipping but he actually told me i had to pay more than what he listed even after explaining everything. I really don't know what went on in his mind

I put the Price I want from it being sold on Ebay and my PAYPAL price is what i message people who offer me under.

Most people who are Hip to EBAY don't mind doing a PP direct Deal…. it's the Noob's who message back saying "It's against Ebay Policy"!

Can't type your email to People on Ebay, They Block it!

So, Just screen Shot a Jpg of your Email and send them a pic… PAYPAL DIRECT!!!

Now if they're buying from OVERSEAS… make them do a BUY IT NOW w/ Global Shipping Program Selected….

Most the time Ebay will Calculate some crazy price for shipping,  which people usually pay

but Global shipping you only have to send the Item to KY….. from there they ship it every where else!

cost $5.95 flat rate to ship to KY from Cali most the time.. VIA usps

WPF always get some looks/comments.  I still haven't worn my Thai Temples out (it's been raining way too much recently) but I'm sure those will get some comments too.

He (posed as a girl) wanted to "buy" my 510s and giraffes and add an additional $150 to send to Russia. I sent an invoice and received TWO emails from fake paypal email addresses -- one stating i received my payment and another email telling me to reply to said email with the tracking number to receive my funds. i got a bit suspicious because the emails weren't from paypal.com. and i know how paypal works. there was no immediate funds available like it normally would. but homeboy was urging me to send my package.

We also have to pay an insane amount in duties we wouldn't normally have to pay with the Global Shipping Program. Paying 60 or 70 bucks in unnecessary duties is not so interesting! The worst part is the seller is completely unaware of all those customs fees/duties

Im using a forwarder for most of my purchases in USA.

they charge me 30 to 40 USD depends on the weight

light shoes like AJ1 are 30 USD

Foamposites are 60 USD :frown:

My aunt always reships things all my NDC stuff and the heavier pairs kill me in terms of shipping cost. If it's under 4 pounds it can go First Class for around $20-$25, but if it's over 4 it has to go priority. Some Carmines were like $38 to have reshipped to me. :x At least I get cash back and there's no sales tax where I'm having it shipped so it cancels some of it out

The seller is aware but it stops overseas buyers from screwing the seller; most sellers like myself stopped sending overseas before the Global Shipping Program because it was Paypal claim after Paypal claim when that seller has no control over customs or delays. Essentially the seller had no protection whatsoever.

How were you shipping things out? I've probably bought at least 75 pairs of shoes from US sellers and have never had anything lost in the mail. Was it just being shipped to Canada or other parts of the world? A lot of sellers aren't really aware. I bought something off of a guy and he had no clue I was charged duties with the new shipping program and just invoiced me $25 for shipping outside of it.

does anyone else go through spurts when buying shoes like, I'm lowballing/being super cheap if i don't get it then f it and then regret it later on.  And then sometimes be like f it, if i have to overpay a little to get what i want i will and then later on see it cheaper and then regret not waiting?

No idea what to look for in a fake. Haven't seen one, but haven't been trying to get this pair.  I think you're fine IMO, but it's hard to tell off of that one picture.  I'd try and post more pics if you're really concerned about it.
