That's the Pens biggest issue though. They don't have any cheap, productive young forwards. And there aren't any coming on the horizon except maybe Kapanen. Bennett could be that guy, but he's always injured. Kunitz is done. Comeau is a 4th liner. They've got too much money in the Crosby/Malkin/Letang trio. Only way any significant changes get made is moving one of them and we all know it won't be Sid. Can't afford to trade Letang when the D is already so young. Smart or not, moving Geno for 2-3 good young players is the only big move they could realistically make.


Still wondering how the hell we got Despres for Lovejoy.

IMHO the kings and flames schedules are pretty even, oilers/yotes easy, vs each other, then grudge match (except the jets are hanging on to that 2nd WC spot so more significance there)

Rangers 2 points away from Presidents Trophy. I know it has been a "curse" lately but definitely an accomplishment albeit just for the regular season.
