Imma have to respectfully disagree. Dude wouldn't be where he is today, without the original 3peat. Monster, Beast Mode & 56 Nights.

Those were well put together not rushed projects spanning from Oct/Nov, Jan & March. Almost universally considered his 3 best bodies of work. This is what got him to where he is today.

I do agree that he does need to take a lil time off, and refresh a lil bit. But the streets hungry.

He put out 3 tapes last year (Monster, 56 Nights & WAATBA) and Beast Mode was in October of '15.


That's 4 tapes in a span of 15 months. Add this tape in the timeframe then it's 5 tapes in a period of 16 months.


That's not spaced out IMO at all. Add in the countless features he does, he's constantly getting tracks he has to spit on and send back for other artists.


Again if you're a fan of Future's then his formula works for you. If you're like me and you listen to everything that comes out and gives almost all artists a listen, and Future hasn't won you over yet, then his formula is clearly not working for some.


Like I said, there are tracks of his I like, but I have yet to come across a tape of his or a full length album that is download or purchase worthy. It's not for the lack of listening either.

In his defense, I go in threads of artist I don't like all the time because I love music. If new music is posted or hyped up I wanna listen and hopefully can say wow this is good. Young thug is the perfect example for me, hated son but after I while I seen it. I'm just happy he's listening, this isn't the future praise thread.
