I normally go for Lebrons first but this time around I think I'll switch over to Kobes. So far those Lebron's ain't doing it for me.

im a big fan on lebrons.. 3s,4s,5s,7s,8s imo are all hot shoes.

Never really understood the appeal for kobes aesthetically.... they just don't do it for me. The only ones i like are the kobe 2s & 4s. As far as better performance goes btwn the 2 that remains to be seen

I'm a Lakers fan (obviously <<<) so I want to see the Kobe's more but I'm not gonna lie the IXs don't look bad. The soles on the VIIs look too crazy though, in a good way. We need to see official, final pictures of the VIIs though to really decide.
a little bit off topic here, but I really think Kobe's crew needs to do something completely different on the VIII if they want continued success with his line. If the VII stays looking like these samples, the basic silhouette of IV-VII look too similar. I'd like to see them go back to a mid- or hi-top again.
