Yes he did. his exact role I am unsure of, but he did play a significant part in designing this shoe.

I just want to make it clear (although it should be at this point) that these are NOT the Wade2, but rather the "All-Star Revolution" that will be worn by Converse athletes (Wade, Bosh, Heinrich, etc)

I don't feel different. I mean, take yesterday for example. We were out at the Olive Garden for dinner, which was lovely. And uh, I happen to look over at a certain point during the meal and see a waitress taking an order, and I found myself wondering what color her underpants might be. Her panties. Uh, odds are they are probably basic white, cotton, underpants. But I sort of think well maybe they're silk panties, maybe it's a thong. Maybe it's something really cool that I don't even know about. You know, and uh, and I started feeling... what? what I thought we were in the trust tree in the nest, were we not?
 
Is this the "Nike X Converse" we heard about a while ago?
If it is, does the Revolution have Zoom Air or anything?

I'd get a pair if they perform well.

i like them. im thinking of chuck taylors with actual comfort.

its more like a 60 dollar shoe than 100 tho.

for 60, these would sell out.

Interesting concept, but a failed attempt. The only way that these would sell atleast a few units is if Wades name was attacted to it. Still not gonna sell though.
 
I remember reading awhile back Tinker was helping out on i think it was either this or Wade's next shoe. I could have sworn I read it on these boards, if not then bah.

Leave Converse and go where? Nike? Nike owns Converse. Adidas can't make cool shoes for guards for the life of the brand. Reebok is garbage for performance b-ball kicks (no disrespect to Iverson), and And1 doesn't make sig shoes, they just make one shoe, color it differently, and stitch a name on it and call it a sig shoe. Nike has the best b-ball shoe designers, and because Nike owns Converse, that means that Converse now has the best b-ball shoe designers. I would think that this Converse Revolution shoes is a decoy. What I mean is that I bet there is a whole lot of performance in there but it is masked with a really plain looking upper. When was the last time Tinker Hatfield designed a garbage basketball shoe?? And if you didn't agree on the shoes looks, when has Tinker Hatfield designed a b-ball shoe that didn't perform? If he is involved, there is a great chance that this shoes will be wicked!! A true b-ball player would reserve his/her opinion until they actually try on and play in the kicks. And as for the looks, change the material to a butter soft leather, and I bet a lot of you would be saying the shoe looks dope!

I guess I am not like most people in that I like these. They are so simple and true to the Chuck Taylor, can't wait to see what tech is involved in the shoe. Much better than the last time they tried to re-invent the Chuck Taylor. Remeber these?
