With the release of the Tubular X looming I noticed that there were several different models with subtle differences.
This is the current model that has started to pop up online.
This model is the lower end model.
It uses mesh and synthetic leather.
This model has a real tongue and plastic eyelets. (notice the material is two pieces at the ankle)
There is also extra synthetic leather at the heel and a fused overlay mudguard for stability.
So far colorways include: black, royal blue, red, 3 x red exclusive.
This is the primeknit print model.
This model ditches synthetic leather for genuine leather.
It also ditches the two piece upper for a one piece upper (no separate tongue at ankle)
The plastic eyelets, leather heel support, and fuse mudguard are all absent.
So far colorways are: white, red, grey, bright cyan.
This model is also a primeknit print.
It differs from the above model because it retains the fuse overlay mudguard.
It also swaps out leather for mesh straps.
So far the colorways are: black and bright cyan
The last model is the primeknit solid
It uses leather for the support straps.
It is a one piece construction as all the primeknits are.
So far colorways are: black, sesame, light grey, olive green.
Personally I'm really excited for the mesh upper and the primeknit upper.
I've already copped the mesh in black and await the release of the triple red exclusive.
If I can get my hands on the triple reds that should hold me over until the primeknit solids release.
As far as the prime knit solids, I want sesame, light grey and if they release an all black I'm game also.
