Noticed I've been always turning into Parabolica a bit too early.


Well, the gravel traps arguably are better in slowing the car down compared to the run-off. They just made running wide less of a penalty (less challenging), IMHO. The tarmac run-offs just make it easier for the drivers to recover from making a mistake, thereby making it "safe" for drivers to still rejoin the race (more forgiving).

Wet astroturf would be fun for the drivers who abuse the track limits.... so hopefully it rains during the race.

In other news, it's good to see JPM back around the paddock.

Great race by Ricciardo,hell of a talent. These last 6 races should be real interesting with Hamilton slowly creeping up in the standings and he's been in great form lately.

I love a good conspiracy theory!  But you gotta admit, it did look a bit uncharacteristic! 

Every driver, as far as I know, they've interviewed has said that it was a clumsy (but unintentional) racing incident.  Yet, these fanboys are adamant that he did it deliberately.  Actually, I guess it means they actually rate Nico that high!  To be able to slice a tyre and have relatively minimal damage to his FW!
