I just now noticed that things move so fast with bigger changes that they never did figure how dude got the razor or he got it from. So yeah, Saul is still suspect.

Brody clearly beat the polygraph though. Even admitted it.

It's just crazy to me how Brody was turned. Living with Nahzir and his son, part time raising the kid, forming the bond, etc. This ep is where it dawned on me there's no way you can hold somebody prisoner for 8 years in a cave or some abandoned looking facility made of rock, being tortured physically and mentally and have the guy not simply die eventually from lack of will to live.

Wonder how Walker will get rid of the body and car or if that will even be a situation to focus on moving on from here.

Very good ep. I like how the plot thickens. Very curious as to how Walker was turned and how they plan to kill this presidential candidate and what Brody exactly committed to and how important his role is.

I've been having a theory about "An American has been turned" from last two eps where it just might be more than one American that has been turned given the sources. The prisoner that told Carrie about one traitor and the white chick told Saul about another one. Whether that's Brody and Walker seems just about right but I still think Saul is suspect.

Enjoyed this past episode a lot, gave an insight on Nazir and Brody's relationship. Very intriguing to see where they do from here on out, how many episodes are left this season?

Good ep.

This undercover Saudi dude was hilarious when he manned up. "Yummy, yummy, yummy."

Very good ep. Still got me wondering who is this inside man on the CIA. It'd be crazy if it was that black guy in charge. I'm out of choices given Saul hasn't gotten anymore suspicious the way he's wallowing in self pity.

I took the wife knowing about Brody and Carrie as that women's intuition thing. I feel he went to Carrie just to check how she found out.

We can all agree Saul is the traitor, right? He touched that guys hands (to pass the blade). And he was one of the few people who knew about the sting operation to get Walker. Also, dude has a personal grudge against America in a way (his job cost him his marriage).

Marriage can't be the reason since he seemed fine with his marriage until the chick left him, which was way before that dude even cut himself.
I still think Saul may have been turned, there are still a lot of signs pointing to him. I don't see David (the black boss) being turned, I mean Brody had to convince him to see the guy that cut himself, if they were working with each other, it seems odd they would have to argue like that. Unless Brody has no idea then it might work but it just seems a bit too far fetch at this time.

It makes no sense at all for Saul to be a traitor. But as far as the bombing goes I think that Saudi dude warned Walker himself, it makes no sense at all for there not to be some sort of smoke signal that was in place for him to give to Walker in case something happened or was about to go down. I also don't like how they completely abandoned the Brody being a traitor, as soon as Walker showed up even though he's following through to a tee the checklist Saul and Claire Danes character put fort. It's like on one hand they respect Abu Nazirs plans for their complexity and then completely ignore the complexity of his plans

Saul did say there's dudes who will cry for forgiveness and work with them and those who will die for the cause. IF he is the traitor it's possible he made the choice for the Saudi diplomat.

If not, then the Saudi had balls all along like he had shown earlier and after his children were threatened decided the only thing he could do is sacrifice himself. I notice that he wasn't really broken since he didn't say a thing about Brody and gave up minimum info on Walker. I'm pretty sure he knew who Walker is suppose to kill.

So Saul, would betray America, because his wife left him, because he spent too much time protecting America? Hueristic failure.

Great episode though. I keep waiting for this show to disappoint me and it keeps raising the stakes. I never thought Winters or Charlie Crews could make a new memorable character, but Brody's it. They're running at their own pace, with a plan and I don't see this season falling apart (*the Killing*).

And if there's a mole, we've only got like 4 or 5 suspects, but I like that they don't put so much pressure on it, that not getting it resolved soon wouldn't hurt the story (Clay in Sons of Anarchy).

What do we do for season 2 is the question. They laid down some smart groundwork with Brody into politics, but how do they replace Abu Nazir? And why is Brody's wife still wearing clothes?

Main reason the show isn't my #1 fav yet. 2nd to Boardwalk Empire cuz they stay with the fine naked !$+*@! and sex per ep and if they slip one week they double up the next.

Brody makes his power move and takes Carrie out the game. Straight up exposed her. Now she's wildcard status.

Don't like what this plan seemingly is from the previews, I mean killing all those top officials is a power move but Brody's just another suicide bomber (I know he's not gonna die but still).

Brody meeting Walker got me hype.

didn't see the preview ... so I don't know about all that suicide bomber talk, but I believe the vest is for someone else and not Brody. IDK it didn't settle right with me Carrie calling Brody, and as soon as the VP said someone needed to go the first person I thought of was Carrie. Hopefully Brody selling her out would finally switch her suspicions of Brody back on, and right now things seem to be setting up for some sort of heroic ending, where they meaning the CIA figures it out at the very end but not fully decipher the entire plan, which will do nothing but piss me off and cause me to lose interest in the show

Also I reeaaaaaallly hated how they did that slight upskirt shot of Brody's wife and couldn't even flash a little underwear or something

WELL I AM!
dude failed the polygraph test the first time he took it (question was if he had slipped the razor to the prisoners hand)
i'm keeping my eye on him.
also in an ep he said he was imprisoned as well for 3 months -who knows what could have happened to him during that time.

I'm 99% sure that the polygraph thing was just to throw us off... He told Carrie that he failed it "like we always do" and she thought nothing of it. Also, hes always showing genuine concern for Carrie and he even helped her put that timeline together which is bringing them that much closer to knowing that Brody is still up to his neck in the terrorist plot.

This honestly has me more hyped than the Packers game today... Albeit its against the Chiefs but NEVER has a show had me more hyped than a GB game on Sunday.

finale was intense.

Although I still don't like that they made Carrie all crazy, feels like a dumb sub plot, she got annoying as a crazy broad, over acted at times.

Interesting to see where next season goes.

Remember that thing about Isa as she got the shock treatment, I wonder if she'll remember when she wakes up

http://www.tvline.com/2011/12/homeland-season-1-finale-gansa-gordon/ it mentions it here

Really liked the finale.

Carrie finally connecting the dots after resolving to try to fix her self sets up a nice cat and mouse game for next season where she'll inevitable remember the key things to be suspicious of Brody. She'll basically have to try and catch him in an indirect way since she doesn't want to look crazy again. Don't know how she'll get her job back. I was hoping Saul would use the drone bombing info to get Carrie her job back.
