Do some of you have a disdain for W's or something? Slick is a complete tool but he knows what he's doing . . .

This is actually a good hire, IMO. If they could manage to keep DeWayne Walker on board, you will see alegit UCLA proram. Walker is flirting with UDub rightnow, so if he goes it will take awhile for Nueheisel to get the program running. Walker is the key, since he is the glue that is holding that program together. If he goes, some recruits will go, and the defense will suffer as well.

I think he made a mistake when he was in Colorado. Washington made their own bed when they fired Neuheisel, they were on their way up. They fired him and theprogram is still in a downward spiral.

Not really, I mean UW did go to bowl games every year when this punk was running the program but as soon as he bounced he left us with all ofthem recruiting violations and NCAA bracket pool nonsense

. None of his recruits turned out good either.

all I gotta say is, good luck Bruins! and I really mean it.

The Ricker is an excellent offensive Mind and a QB Genius.

The hire is OK to me, the search is what pissed me off. rick is a great offensive mind and will hopefully turn are QB around. but they key is keeping Dwalkertho.

The guy destroyed two elite programs with terrible recruiting. He was a great motivator, but in one class at Washington he brought in something like tenwide receivers and not a single offensive lineman. His first two seasons at Washington were successful because of Tui, not because of his coaching. Those wereall Lambright's players, and they played like it. As soon as his players got in the mix in '01, they went to 8-4, then 7-6. They called him Slick Rickbecause he liked the flash and glamour, but never put any effort into building teams. He took what the exiting coach gave him, then couldn't put togetherhis own program.
