levis finally got it right 521 & 513

^513. They are 514 with a tapered leg and a higher rise(14 inch).

Wouldn't it be 513 then? I believe they are built to have the 514 feel, however the closure is not as big as the 514.

They changed the fit again!
The new 511's are now slim not skinny. I was at the store on 14th and copped a pair, they fit more like 513's now. Skinny's are now 510 and 508 I think.
Sizing on tops is diff now too. Tried on a hoodie and jacket same size as I always get and they're now bigger than last seasons. :smh:
C'mon Levi's u had it right with the 513s.

and da 511's aren't skinny anymore, now those are slims.
 
I ordered about 4 more pai of the 508 from zappos. Free next day shipping and no tax. $40-50 too.

as a bigger dude, the slightly wider leg opening makes me look more proportioned (if that sounds right). when i wear pants with more tapered legs it makes my gut/torso stick out more :lol: :frown:
 
Does anyone know how you can tell what color the levi's are by looking at the tag on the jeans? I bought a few pairs from macys but I was wondering if I could find them on levi.com any maybe scoop them up when they have their f&f event.
 
Wait are all levis shrink to fit?
Everytime I buy a pair I get the decent size then I wash em one time and I have some gotdamb skinny jeans

Agreed I recently bought a bunch of new jeans and all of them were Levi's and they are all 514's. Not sure how people are saying the 514's are loose? Mine feel tight. They actually had two different styles of the 514 straight and slim straight at Macy's. I wasn't sure which was which so I went up a size on the slim straights and they turned out fine. How's everyone washing these jeans? Hang dry? Tumble dry?

hang dry

machine dry = pants come out soft af + shrinkage

Nope. Only the STF are shrink to fit. Try washing the jeans in cold water. My Levi's shrink a little bit when I wash them too but after a wear or two they loosen up again.
