I missed the convo in here, so forgive me if this is irrelevant, but the Cole album that Yeezus went up against directly was Born Sinner.

Just a small note because, while Yeezus outsold it initially, I think Born Sinner still has more sold to date.

I liked yeezus so I'm in the minority. I will give this album a spin but the Kanye stans are the worse kind of fans in the world. Y'all hear the **** y'all say sometimes. so you know that he's doing things you don't like, that may even annoy you in real life....... so rather then not indulge in it you pay more attention to it and continuously discuss what you don't like about him.... Does that not seem a bit pointless?

and while we're on it... is Kanye seeking acceptance from white people, or is he seeking acceptance from the fashion world which just happens to be predominately white. Also he's explained that classism statement in depth a few times, and from what i got from the discussion he never claimed racism doesn't exist... he was focusing purely on what is hindering HIM in fashion, and in that area it's more classism rather than racism being used to hold him back
