OFFICIAL Ye fka "kanYe West" x G.O.O.D. Music Thread - ¥$ (AKA YE X TY DOLLA SIGN) - VULTURES (NOW AVAILABLE WOWWWW)

Personally I think it's one of the most superbly produced albums I've ever heard.

The lyrics on a lot of the songs are meh aside from the choruses, but the musicality of the whole thing together works for me. I don't listen to him for hard hitting fire bars. I have Canibus for that.
guarantee if you were able to listen to the instrumental version of Yeezus, it would blow your mind and speakers

sonically Yeezus >

i like how ye raps tho

heartfelt lyrics subjects you can understand/relate to and he always has a few gems here n there + his stunt raps are :pimp:

only track on yeezus that was questionable when it came to the mixing was "I am a God", weird distortion or was that the intention? Other than that the album had some great production

Damn never knew Vic could sing like that, SIA sounded great too.

What's up with Vic's outfit/nails... part of the performance I'm guessing?

I noticed his nails too. Take into considereaitons Kanye's contacts and I'm sure it was part of the performance (which felt like an art piece)

That was intended and I liked it.

People saying that they love Wolves and it sounds like an extention of MBDTF and that "good Ye"... imo the production and writing is way more akin to what he did on Yeezus...

wolves has that off kilter construction like the songs on yeezus, I don't exactly know where this 7th album is headed but I do like what has been released so far. If "All Day" is part of the album then :nthat:

But Wolves as the opener is kind of odd IMO. I personally see it as more of a closer, unless he's busting a Lupe and making the tracklist flippable? :wow:

It works as an opener. Basically talm bout his love for Kim and how his mom may view him. In the subsequent tracks, he could just expand on that.

Just saw that BET Honors commercial. Does he really deserve an award like that now in his career?
