Is there a big difference in quality between a.p.c., N&F, and nudie selvedge denim? Is one better than the others?

My N&F were way stiffer than my Nudies. I think you could have stood the N&Fs up on their own

I'd say no.  APC has good fits on their denim and nudies are made "ethically" in mind.  N&F offer a wide variety of denim choices.  Buy what you like, nothing wrong with any of them except the price variation.

Uv been rocking my joes a lot lately. Brixton Fit is on point and I actually get compliments one these jeans. These and my N&F pure blacks

just got some united dry stock good slight denim for 98$ on sale, couldn't find much info online but they looked like a pair of solid japan sourced denim, made in the US, and for 98 if they fit alright can't really complain. looks like a skinny/slim fit which is what i wanted, hopefully not too tight in the top block, have no idea what the sizing on these is like. if i dont return them bout to just have these and my RRL's in my rotation for the rest of the year.

did the whole high-end japanese denim thing the last couple years (had the samurai 710s, selfedge dry bones when they came out, and pure blue japan 13s), but honestly the fits from those brands just don't look that good on most people, unless you're super thin or you're going for that americana/workwear look and wear your jeans super high with a triple cuff. especially the repro fits.

Which RRL fit do you recommend?

6'1 200 lbs

Currently own Nudie, APC, and N&F

How does  RRL compare in quality/fit to those brands?

^ it matters how you like your jeans to fit and the size of your legs. If you like a little more room in your jeans and if you have big thighs, I would recommend lite straights. If you want a tighter fit I would do slim. Stay far away from straight legs and slim bootcut. I strictly do slim fit. But I'm 6'3 190. There is also a new slim straight cut that I really like. Its basically a slim fit with a higher rise. They currently have the limited edition RO-Buck on sale. I would highly recommend those if you're looking fit great fitting pair of dark wash jeans with a lot of character. It has a great slubby texture. The RRL jeans that are made out of Japanese denim have way better quality than APC or Naked and Famous. Especially the limited edition stuff

if you're asking me, honestly not too familiar with the different RRL fits. I got my pair when I was at UnionMade in Sf one day and they happened to be having a sale so everything was half off, I wanted the slim RRL's (the infamous Stalley jeans  ) but they didn't have my size, so I ended up getting the straight RRL's for like 100$ and then just got them tapered to fit more like the slims. but from what I remember they only had like two fits (straight and slim) in different styles (raw, one-wash, etc.). but fit-wise I think they're just not as modern (apart from a mid-low rise no aggressive tapering, low back pockets, super fitted thighs, etc.).

edit: I guess I was way off on the fits they have, see post above lol

quality on them is good, never owned any of the brands you mentioned but I've handled them and the RRL's i would say feel more substantial and a bit rougher than APC and Nudie, don't know compared to N and F.

maybe someone who owns both can provide a better answer though

USDG is a good brand, definitely a little under the radar compared to a lot of other brands. A friend of mine has had his pair for a little over a year and has really nice fades.  Hope yours fitsA

Got a pair of APC PNS after trying UB 101. My usual jeans size is 32 but sized to 33 on the UB, could have stayed TTS.  So I sized down 2 to 30 on the PNS.  Fit really tight on waist and thighs so I had to wear em for like 20 min before I could even button them all the way.  I've seen that some are made in Macau but the ones I got from Need Supply were made in Vietnam. So is the stretching due to the way APCs are constructed or the denim?  Just wanna make sure before I decide whether or not to size up.

Ive never heard of the thigh stretching out just the waist.

Thats why I hated my Weird guys.

A lot of these fits are meant for skinny guys,

Anyone got naked & famous super skinny denim?, I'm not sure if I should size up since it's gonna be slim in the thighs. Only want that fit because I'm too lazy to go to cleaners and taper and think the leg opening on them is like 6.5 inches

I cannot even imagine how tight super skinny would be lol

Read about it after asking, and sound like it's the same rise and stuff as the skinny guy just more taper from knee down.

Wore my APC PNS for 3 days straight and I noticed pain and bruises right under my calf. I googled it and apparently wearing tight jeans is really unhealthy for you. Dam. Anyone else get this problem?
