I have a pair of old low straight RRL Japanese selvedge in a few black color that ib really like but they are 34 waist as opposed to my normal 33 I wear in slimfit. I'm planning on taking them to the tailor and having the waist brought in 2 inches and having the thigh, taken in a little. Do you'll think doing this may throw off the fit of the jeans?

Have any of you guys ever bought a pair of bespoke jeans through a kickstarter campaign?  if so, which ones and what were your thoughts on them?

Which kickstarter campaign?  I've heard of a similar made to measure thing and the results weren't great, where people found the fits were not pleasing at all.  Don't remember which brand, but IMO it is a bit of a risk.

I ordered a pair of soso clothing bespoke jeans from their kickstarter campaign. A couple of weeks ago rawrdenim.com had a writeup about them and gave them decent reviews. They had a fit I liked and for like 80$ I figured what the heck I'll give them a shot.

None of those kickstarters are truly bespoke. Unless you're going to their store/factory, getting measured, choosing your denim/hardware/pocket lining etc you are not getting bespoke denim. 3x1 is the only company I know of that offers that starting at $1200

Anyone owned a pair of these kickstarter brands rpmwest, brave star, etc for a while now to see how they fade?

Ah I thought you meant bespoke as in custom measurements.  Buying bespoke online is a little nuts so I was a little wary.  Kickstarter brands are usually sorta legit, but the problem lies in that they are not exactly obligated to fulfill their campaign goals and that whatever they are doing probably has been done before.  Anyways the rawrdenim review looks legit so it should alright and $80 is a good price point.

This **** out of hand bruh :x :smh: :wow:

Yeah they are just bespoke as in you pick the denim, thread color, button colors, patch color.  Nothing too crazy, but like i said they had a fit that i liked and for ~$80 i figured what the heck.  I spoke to the owners via email and they definitely seemed like legit guys, i mean as much as one can tell through an email conversation, so im not too worried about getting beat.  I will post some pics when i get them in.
