I don't think you can count Tyreese out of the TV series just yet.  I think if they go through the Prison story arc without him making an appearance at all then he is washed out of the TV series for sure.  
I'm thinking he will pop up on the road to the Prison.  He is too important to Rick, Carol, and Michonne not to at least be a part of the program.

Plus, he'd be a great addition and would present very well on screen.

Ok I just read the issue that came out today and the new guy is awsome. I'm waiting to see what the hilltop is in the next issue
 
So im up to around issue 40 and some xtreme stuff happened.
Im just wondering but does it get more xtreme after they leave the prison?
Are new characters introduced?
Reading the comics kinda takes some of the fun out of the tv show but
they both are still entertaining as hell
 
So the show is good but I just reread the comics and realized damn we have a long way to go.
 
The current storyline is pretty slow. Not sure what to expect with the next issue...I trust Kirkman will continue to do something good.

you're not even half way done man, of course some intense stuff happens. There are some pretty crazy story arcs like Fear the Hunter and No Way Out. Lots of new characters get introduced, new setting, revelations and whatnot. keep reading!
 
Didn't know 95 was out.

I wonder where this new story arc is going.
