damn was gonna go to the game today but my dad had work in at 3 am tomorrow and he needs to go to sleep at 7 . #feelsbadman

I'm fine with taking Nash and tossing Lin. Nash wold automatically get us out of the first round. He knows his position better than almost anyone. Lin has a lot to learn and is overrated.

Dudes fell in LOVE with Lin.

He's good and can get better, but some of ya'll are sounding like you'd off yourself if Lin got traded.

He's GREAT trade bait. Any team struggling to fill seats up will give up almost anything for the money machine. Just sneak Amare in there...

On another Amare note. If he is to stay a Knick, this summer better be his HARDEST summer EVER. He needs to be doing whatever it takes to become a better player then he EVER was. Because I'm not accepting anything less then "1st couple of months with the Knicks Amare"

Lin is another Landry Fields waiting to happen.

How much more can his ball handling improve at this point in his career?

He's a decent PG but not the PG of the future IMO.

I'd like to see what he can become but I'm not that high on his talent level. He's more of an experiment that I wouldn't care if we lost.

What is Drajic's situation? I know Houston already has a good Asian following because of Yao so they would prolly be more than thrilled to take on Lin. But if we could flip them Lin and Amare for Dragic and Scola I would be down with that.

Im just goin off the top of my head so IDK if contracts work. But you can always just have throw in guys. I would actually take whichever PG Houston doesnt want. Lowry or Dragic both seem to be an upgrade over Lin.

If we sign Nash an let Lin walk, I'm gonna be pissed.

Nash > Lin bro. Even at Nash's age now, he STILL produces as if he's just hit his prime. He facilitates better than any PG in the league not named Rondo or Deron. He would put this team right back in competition with the rest of the East, and that's WITH Melo and Stat.

Let Lin walk...he hasn't proven anything for this team.

If we also sign Goran Dragic I won't be mad. It's obvious this team needs more than one pg. Plus I'm definitely keeping injuries mind given our track record the past 2 years. No arguing Nash is better than Lin though.

We can sign both if Nash takes the vet min and Lin the mini mle. Don't see Dolan giving up on Lin as a cash cow unless there's a plan place that forms a team that gets us to the finals next year.

Yall better stop with those dumb Amar'e trades already. STAT for Scola? Right now McHale aint doing that. Plus they couldn't package Dragic unless they resign him first since he's a FA this offseason.

You pushing it fam. Lin is 23 about to be 24. What you mean at this point in his career?

As if ball handling can't be improved of all skills?

Lin's faults are his passing and decision making.

We desperately need a real PG.

Someone who can break down and keep defenses honest with their jumper so Melo has room to operate.

Beside Nash is anyone like that even available?

We have to offer Nash more than Miami and if that means saying goodbye to Lin so be it . If Miami is offering the Vet minimum no way in hell he turns us down offering the full MLE. Also if Nash comes even that it hurts me to say it Melo HAS TO model his game after Durant's. Dude is gonna have to do way more running off screens and spot up shooting.

I'd GLADLY let Lin walk to get Nash. Let's be real, Lin hasn't done $#!$ since he blew up in those 7 games. Nash is still hungry and wants to win.

Son stop it. You're talking such foolishness right now. Not only is there nothing wrong with Melo's game no matter who he plays with but there's no way he's going to model his game after a dude younger than him that I'm sure he thinks he's better than
laugh.gif
That's a pipe dream statement. If you want Durant say you want Durant.

I want everyone to pay attention how everybody else stops moving when Melo gets the ball, even when he moves. It's sickening.

I'm not on the blow up most of the roster like I was last year but there are key guys who need to be gone.
