does anyone else not like madden 08? at least for 360...bootleg commentary (no madden or michaels)...no in-game stats. i mean game play is good andall...but they got the little things all wrong

Like I've said before, my 5 teams are my 5 teams and always will be my 5 teams. Those 5 teams are my rotation, NOT the rest of the teamslisted in my sig. I don't rep (and never have) the rest of the teams in my sig; just the first 5.

The other teams mentioned? I'm from SoCal, and I've always had love for them. My sig is simply letting it known that I'm not some Angels fans thathates the Dodgers dirty, rotten guts, or a Lakers fan that wishes the Clippers would cease to exist. That's not me. In those examples, the Angels andLakers are my teams, but in the event that they're gone, I'll be cheering for the Dodgers or Clippers... AS AN ANGELS/LAKERS FAN.

Next week, a Chargers loss is the only thing that will make me happy. They are not my 'NFL Team #2'. I have one team in the NFL, and it's theTitans. The other teams in the league are my team #2, but I would cheer for the Chargers simply by SoCal default, but they are NOT my team.

Long story short:
#1- Titans
#2- NFL, but the Chargers get more love being that I've been to multiple Chargers games back when the stadium was called Jack Murphy. That does NOT makethem my #2 team, because they're not. There are the Titans, and everyone else. If the Titans weren't in the playoffs, yes, I would wish the Chargerswould win it all, and I would also wish the Patriots win it all (to complete this whole history thing and to shut Mercury up), and I would wish the Colts wouldwin it all (so Peyton can bring the 'Peyton vs. Brady' score to 3-2), and I would wish the ******** win it all (tough season, 'feel-good pick). Seewhat I mean?

I wish I could put all of that in my sig somehow.

^ We had 'em a few weeks ago. We should have had them in regulation. We just didn't play the WHOLE game. LT came out of the half HOT, and they surgedin the 4th to force overtime, and they were able to get us in OT. But we played well enough to tell ourselves, "Yep, we can beat 'em."

And we can.

I'm a Titans fan and I think Tennessee's D might keep it close but I just don't think they can put up enough points. It's sickening watchingthat team on offense. I still think they should have drafted Leinart, but at any rate they will have to address that in the offseason. I don't know if itis the lack of good wide receivers or Youngs poor passing ability that makes them struggle so much on offense. I liken this offense to the Cody Carleson dayswhen they could only play offense between the 20's and then settled for field goals. Most of you might be too young to remember that.
 
I agree with mjd. It is the lack of offense that would concern me. You know LDT and San Diego is going to put up points. The Titans seem to have forgotten howto do that lately. Unless something drastic happens, I can't see San Diego losing. Who knows though, Rivers is always ready for a blowup game (in a badway)

I'm not going to say anything until after this game.

I'm just going by the fact, that San Diego Sports are designed and built to break San Diego Sports fans hearts.

That's all I'm going to say. And if anyone from SD can prove me wrong on that, then I'd like to see it. Other than that, you better be a JimmieJohnson Nascar fan, a San Diego Gulls fan, or a San Diego Sockers fan.

After what happened at last season's playoff game and the Jet's playoff game from a few seasons back, all I remember is leaving the game with asprained knee, losing my cell phone, sitting in the rain/in the cold with a cigarette in my mouth due to depression.

So, just Go Chargers.

And yes, I'm taking back the guarantee I said in the game thread. This one is not a gimme.
 
the titans are my second favorite team behind the giants. I hope Vince is ok and maybe our defense can get us a victory
