that's not true, red suede came before red pearl, red suede was around in 1996 and are og just like the pearl, not an anniversary + cw, but if you like i'll again for the 100x in this thread post the question timeline:

Picked up that same pair at a marshalls back in the day. I remember I ended up wearing them for basketball in 5th or 6th grade.

I've started to come around on that pair too. If it's only Toronto then I'm out and it's a dumb move by Reebok. The would clean up with that CW in this Warriors NBA era we're in.

Saw the yellow pair today in Finish Line. The honey comb looks so damn cheap, I mean they almost look fake. It's sad. Color is close, I would be shocked if these don't hit that $60-$70 range.

im pretty sure i bought mine in 2001 or 2002 at footaction and it had that gold plated roty tag i remember this vividly because i brought um to my former workplace at the time and scuffed the rubber on the back midsole. i was furious.

My wife sent me out to the garage as we still have half of it filled with boxes from a cross country move....ended up passing by a shoe storage bag she must have pulled out and found these. Not by any means deadstock, I must have played in these years back but they should be the OG release, red suede on white leather (not certain of its real or synthenitic). Tried finding the production date on the shoe, and couldn't, but I sure didn't look hard.
