They said "in stock", but after I added them to my cart it said pre-order available for shipment april 5.

One of the last clean, normal running shoes left from Nike. I've been a fan of the Zoom Structure Triax series also, but unfortunately for the 14's and now 15's the choices of colorways have been awful.

Not up yet would be my guess.  It was just put up this morning.  There are some new 2012 CWs that say sold out or whatever too, that were never in stock on the website.

I ordered the top color (looks better in person, I hope) and am thinking about the red CW.

Does everything from Nike have to be gray/platinum based?  What ever happened to white shoes?

please let it be volt
Don't worry.  They are volt.  Mine should be delivered today and I will post pics.

It is volt (hard color to photograph).

They are comfy enough, but otherwise I'm not real impressed. Hope for some better CWs.

Got mines earlier today, love these. Hopefully they drop more better colorways. Would like to see an all black/white cw as well

the one thing that is bothering me is the heat printed tongue logo. I know it's not that big of a deal to some of you but for me it is. Prefer the stitched tongue as previous vomero's

The 5's are my most favorite running shoe of all time. I'm really not feeling the design change (look) of the 7's but if they perform like the the others then I will definitely purchase. The real life pics do make them look better though.

You would wear the same size in both, but the fit is not quite the same and I can't put my finger on what the difference is.

Just saw this thread now, and I'm on a serious hunt for some race-day runners right now (my marathon's May 6). I'm meh on the revamped look, who knows maybe it'll grow on me.

My 4s are officially cooked after a 30k race this past Sunday. Anyone can offer some quick info on the 6s or 5s since I can probably snag 'em at a discount now (sorry, I tried searching thru Sneaker Reviews but didn't find anything)...or I may wait on these.

Janitor,

I am on my second pair of the 6's and they are a good racing shoe. I have run 5k, 10k, and half marathon PR's in them. What race are you running on the 6th? I am doing the Flying Pig Marathon that day. It will be my first full.

I'm running the Goodlife Marathon in Toronto, this will be my second full. Never ran a half, jumped in straight from 10Ks.

The Flying Pig, that's the one in Cincinnati right? I know a few people who ran that one. Best of luck to ya staab! And remember: no matter what time you reel in it'll be a PR...as long as you finish

the fit is very similar to the 6 in a sense. the dynamic fit system gives a much better lock down on this model compared to the 6. I like the system in my LunarEclipse 2 and should work just as well in the new Vomero.
unlike most companies this year who cut a lot of weight in + category shoes this year (Asics Kayano 18 lost a full ounce), the Vomero 7 actually weighs in at 0.6 ounces heavier than the Vomero 6

hmmm... these don't look too bad. haven't run in vomeros since the 4s, though... i switched to lunarglides after that. not because i disliked the vomeros, but i was drawn to the design of the lunarglides....
